Max Large 26 ft Tape

I have used this leash for 3 years with my dog. It’s a great leash and durable. My dog loves to sniff so it’s great for us, I can keep walking and he will eventually catch up. It’s strong if he ever runs and reaches the end of his leash.Never had issues with the lock, etc. Recently the rubber came loose in the handle but it doesn’t bother me. Additionally, it can get stuck at lengths if it doesn’t feed in straight. This doesn’t happen all that often and when it does, it’s super easy to correct by just allowing it to feed in straight. I would recommend! I’m purchasing another leash bc his smells and I’m too lazy to wash it lol.

I use this leash to take my dogs out to potty, as 1 of them cannot be trusted without one and our yard is not fenced. I LOVE this leash for that purpose. She can get far enough away from me that she has privacy to do her business, while still allowing me to keep her contained. The leash itself holds up well to weight, my girl is 109 lbs and I have never felt like it was not sturdy enough to hold her. The only thing I do not like about the leash is the locking mechanism is a little weird. Most other leashes I have used like this you can push the button and hold it to lock it, and slide it to hold the lock at that length. This leash whenever you push the lock button it holds at that length and a button has to be pressed to release it again. Once I got used to it, it is fine, but it threw me off the first few times I used it. Overall, great leash and would 100% buy again if/when I need another one.

I've read reviews for most of the 26 foot leashes on Amazon and they all have the same complaint; poor re-tractability.The leash started out retracting pretty good, but after a few months, it won't retract all the way sometimes or at all.I have cut the "tape" twice now and it's now down to about 15 feet long and is retracting well again, as I suspect a new 16 foot leash would.I don't think this is a defect of this brand or model, it's just that there is a limited amount of space for a spring in this size leash and I don't think the amount of space for the spring is adequate for a 26 foot lead.Other than the retraction issues, it's as good or better than any other leash I have used.I don't know if I will go a 16 foot leash next time, or just get the 26 foot model and cut it down as the retracting performance degrades.

Second time purchasing this leash! First one still works fine, but I think wanted a new one as the old one was starting to get beat up. This leash is great! Never gave me an issues and this newer model has an updated hand grip which seems super durable as well as a very distinct lock mechanism. I also love that it never tangles!Love the distance it offers and how durable it is. Will always recommend this leash to all my friends and family.

I THOUGHT this was the same leash I purchased years ago and wanted another because of how long it's lasted; it was definitely the BEST leash I ever bought throughout my (52 pound) Labradors 12 years.When this current one arrived (a little over 2 months ago) I realized the lock button was different, but it still worked pretty great.. AT FIRST.. Basically after the first time we went out in the rain (and my girl LOVES the rain, so the leash does get soaked) it hasn't worked well since. The leash/nylon tape is always getting jammed so won't retract a lot of the time, which is not good when you live in an apartment complex with many dogs, people and vehicles always around AND have two dogs to control (the pitbull is only 2, so she has a much shorter, super heavy duty leash to keep her close).So, for ME, it was a waste of money. But, if you have a dog that doesn't like the rain (like my pit), it MIGHT last longer for all I know? Back to using the one I purchased years ago - wish they never changed it.

It's an OK quality leash it's still gets bound up and locks and the retract abilities is not that great but it's good for the price

I order this for my grand furbaby. She stays with us when my son and his family go out of town. The leash they gave me broke after time so I ordered this one. It is really nice. It's very sturdy, just the right length, retracts nicely and is comfortable to hold.
