Pure incense, no stick
This is pure sandalwood incense in the shape of a skinny rod--there is no wooden stick in the middle. On the downside, that means that they can be brittle. If you don't handle them carefully they'll break on you. However because it's all incense, they produce a *very intense* sandalwood aroma. For me both aspects complement each other. I break each stick in half and only burn a half at a time. A half stick is more than enough to fill the house with a delightful sandalwood scent. And now each box goes twice as far.

Excellent Scent for Cost
I love Sandalwood and I have been looking for a decent brand for a while now. I want one that is both affordable and has a good scent. The Tibetan Sandalwood meets those conditions. It is heavy on the wood scent, so be sure that is what you are looking for in a Sandalwood. It isn't a sweet perfume scent like you can get with some other Sandalwoods. I have both the Morning Star and the Tibetan Sandalwood sticks at my home now and I honestly can say, I prefer the earthier heavily wooded scent of the Tibetan Sandalwood to the Morning Star. I also like the burn time much better. Now, it is important to note that you will need an incense holder with a rather large hole in order to fit the Tibetan Incense in it. I have a ceramic one that works well. A pot with sand in it would also work very well. You also need to be careful with this incense (which is shipped in a great deal of protection), because it is solid incense - no stick. In the affordability category, this is an 8" incense stick. It has a long burn time, so enjoy.

Very nice, earthy scent!
This may not be exactly the 60/70's "groovy" Sandalwood incense most baby-boomers are familiar with, but it is close. It is a nice scent to relax and/or meditate with. Nice house fragrance that lingers nicely throughout--actually a bit better after burning. Very earthy and woody with no floral overtones we can detect to it whatsoever (which is what Sandalwood is) with a reminiscence of oak-smoke undertones as it smokes. I like the Morning Star Sandalwood a tiny bit better in its overall smokey fragrance but this is a close 2nd or 1.5 to it. These (Tibetan)are about twice as thick as the Morning Star, longer in length, so they burn considerably longer in such comparisons which brings it up very close to the Morning Star, so actually I would give it 4.5 to 4.9 stars in comparison to the Morning Star Sandalwood.

Another good incense scent by Bosen
This scent and this brand are both that I can recommend. Stronger than Japanese incense while not being overpowering and synthetic smelling like Indian incense. It's a nice middle ground of the two types. If you enjoy Tibetan incense I recommend getting them from TibetanIncense, com (Hither & Yon). The ones here tend too overpriced.

All wood, no sandal
I love the scent of sandalwood oil and I heard good things about this incense so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it just smells like wood burning in your fireplace, I don't detect a hint of sandalwood. I tried 3 sticks before returning it. Also, it creates a lot of smoke, I mean a lot. And it was expensive, which wouldn't be a problem if it smelled even a little like sandalwood. Oh well, still on the hunt for a good sandalwood incense

Instantly a fan
This is right in the same land that Bo-Rim and several of the great Bhutanese incenses inhabit, it's a pine-forest with hints of magic and mystery. It's beautiful clean air blowing off the sea through this forest, it's got a definitely slight medicine smell that lies in the sweet and pungeant category. The sandalwood scent weaves itself in and out of the herbal scents masterfully. This is really a good incense and I've been sniffing these kinds for days, now. I'm instantly a fan.

Waste of money
This incense vacillates between no scent whatsoever to an occasional whif of something electrical or some non-organic substance burning in the house somewhere. Way over-priced and I question if it is even "Tibetan" incense.

This is an AMAZING Sandalwood incense
This is an AMAZING Sandalwood incense. With a 60 minute burn time its great for meditation and it really permeates the space its burned in. Anytime I need to relax this is my go to incense. These do NOT come with a burner and do not have a "sick" so I would suggest picking up a burner. I purchased Shoyeido's Denim Round Ceramic Incense Holder and it works wonderfully with these.
