The frame of this electric bicycle is very solidly built, with excellent welding details. After assembly, it feels very stable to ride, with no looseness or noise. Assembly was also simpler than I expected; most parts were pre assembled. I only needed to secure the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals, following the instructions step by step, which took about half an hour. The actual riding performance is also very satisfactory. The 350W motor provides smooth acceleration from a standstill, and the top speed of 20 mph is more than enough for my city commute. The front suspension absorbs a lot of vibration when going over small potholes or speed bumps, resulting in a very smooth ride overall, without any unpleasant bumps. The seat height and handlebar angle are adjustable, so even long rides aren't too tiring, offering good comfort. With my daily commute of about 8 miles, charging once every three days is sufficient, and I'm very satisfied with the battery life. The removable battery is also very convenient, allowing me to charge it at home. In terms of functionality, the three modes are intuitive to switch between. If you want to exercise, use the low assist mode; if you're in a hurry, increase the assist or use the pure electric mode. Overall, this electric bicycle performs well in terms of quality, range, comfort, and practicality, making it suitable for daily commuting or leisure riding.

I absolutely love the look, feel, and ride of this bike. I bought it because it was the lightest ebike I could find at this price point. I love that the battery is easily removable for indoor charging. The bike is sturdy and the handlebar and seet hieghts easily adjustable to allow others to ride. The pedals are strong grippy metal. I don't need to wear my bike shoes or add shoe cups as my feet stay firmly in place when peddling. I bought this bike because one of my favorite roots has significant hills in either direction. I love that this bike pedals with ease even with no power. I typically try to use the pedal assist mode only when needed to help me strengthen my biking muscles. Having the extra assist to get up, those hills is a dream. I did need to buy a new bike rack for towing as the bike does weigh about fifty pounds and is a step through model. I have taken the bike out on three good trips before having to recharge the battery. I would recommend the bike to anyone. Tip: my bike came with a light which I could not figure out how to turn on and then realized if you press and hold the up Button it turns on.

I am glad to have this electric bike. Assembly was straightforward, and I had it ready to room about half an hour. The build quality is solid, and everything feels well made and reliable. The ride itself is smooth, and it handles bumps and uneven roads comfortably. It is easy to adjust how much power I want while riding, and the speed system shifts smoothly. The bike feels stable, responsive, and easy to control.

I got this e-bike for my wife just over a year ago or 7. October 2024. Assembly was easy and bike was ready to ride in less than 30 minutes. Gears have never had to be adjusted but brake cables set in a little so after 2-3 rides I had to adjust the brakes. The weight of the bike is only about 45 pounds with the battery, so it is easy to fit on a bike rack and to hang to my wall mounts in the garage and it is easy to ride without battery power. Now after one year the battery is still like new and range is just over 30 miles running the bike at speed settings 2 or 3 (10 and 15MPH aprx). In august 2025 the bike stopped working. I contacted the Gotrax customer service and right away they sent a replacement display unit which was easy to replace. That did not fix the problem and right away and Gotrax sent a replacement controller unit and that took just over 2 weeks to arrive. Lydia at Gotrax customer service was very helpful and sent DIY videos how to replace parts. After reading few of the reviews I wanted to point out that when you buy an e-bike, or anything for that matter, from a small company you have to be self sufficient to DIY any repairs under warranty. Don’t expect a small business to have nation wide warranty repair service. I support small businesses and bike repairs are an easy DIY task especially when you have a video to follow. I do recommend this e-bike for anyone who needs a city e-bike or one to venture on the smoother bike trails. After one year of use and over 1000miles it is still running like new, battery at full capacity, tires good, gear shifting great and front suspension fork still smooth and its low weight makes it easy to handle. All of this at a very favorable price point.

The bike is overall decent, especially for the price point. The battery life gets me about 16 miles before I need to charge it again. Which isn't too bad for using the assist. The Speed isn't too bad, I do max the speed out pretty easy so I wish the bike had a higher speed (This is an entry level so I'm wanting too much). It was easy to assemble and pretty easy to operate. The removable battery is a great addition because it means I don't have to find a random outlet to get my bike to. The charging time for the battery is quite longer than it was with previous bikes I had and the charger does get pretty hot when you charge it so make sure it is in a safe place. The customer service isn't the greatest, but lately they have been improving. They reached out to me about my previous issues and offered to completely replace the bike + cover the return shipping along with other things. Im grateful they reached out because the bike is pretty great overall for this price point.

Best bike for budget, well built, great quality. Love the ride quality. Additional test after 5 months of use, battery is holding great, easily covers 50kms of range with 2 and 3 PAS. Very good battery backup no issues.

Amazing! I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of this bike! It arrived perfectly in the package and looks fantastic after assembly. Battery of this bike is very good, I ride it almost everyday for about 2 weeks now and I only charged it twice. The only problem I had was it took me a while to figure out how to assemble it, really need to read the instruction carefully. Overall all, I like this electric bike.

The Good: This bike looks amazing and feels powerful. The throttle and assist modes have real punch, and the front suspension smooths out casual trails or city potholes nicely. Five pedal-assist levels give some flexibility, and the max speed is zippy enough for commuting. The battery range (in practice, ~40km) is excellent for this price class. The Warnings: There are two key issues I wish I’d known before purchasing: 1. Pedal-assist is motion-sensor based (not torque-sensor), which means the motor kicks in based on pedal movement, not effort. It can feel jumpy and counterintuitive—especially at low speeds—leading to awkward or even dangerous starts. I strongly recommend beginners or city riders be cautious. Once you get going at speed, it provides an impressive and even thrilling ride. 2. Assembly was frustrating. • My handlebar stem was overly tight and wouldn’t slide onto the fork easily. • The front brake rubbed no matter how carefully I aligned it. I finally found a sweet spot after a couple of hours fiddling. 3. The boost mode is like a power-assisted lawnmower … but you need to walk pretty fast to keep up … so we’ll probably never use it (toggling throttle/brake is better) Support was very slow to respond (time zone issues?), and repeatedly asked for additional order info to try to determine the model (which I sent), then sent me a generic YouTube video that didn’t address either assembly problem. I gave up communicating with them and found my own workarounds. Summary: Impressive style, solid power, but poor support hold it back. Be prepared for some setup frustration, and know what you’re getting in terms of pedal-assist behavior. For the mechanically inclined, this bike is a great deal.
