Abbott And Costello: Meet Frankenstein/Meet The Mummy [DVD]

Remembered from my youth and wondered if it would live up to expectations. It did, abbot & costello meets frankenstein, still an excellent watch and stands the test of time.

If you like classic old horror films, you will enjoy this.

Great quality arrived quickly

Despite me having a huge interest in the "old black and white" horror films from the 1930's and 40's, i was quite concerned that the apperance of the legend Bela Lugosi in this film, would damage his reputation as the finest Dracula ever caught on screen.......but not a bit of it, this really is a fitting tribute to him, as for a change, he has a nice part to play.........Dracula of course.Bud and Lou are on terriffic form, the reading of dracula's "legend" by lou, whilst standing next the the coffin, is a film highlight!....the film also has its errie moments, with one or two scares. Lon Chaney (another ledgend from that golden era of horror films) also makes an appearance, as the wolfman, still a haunting figure, and beautifuly played by Chaney.I cant reconmmend this film enough if you loved the old horror films from that golden era.....and you wont stop laughing, escpcially at poor old Lou.......MAGIC!forget the other Film, Bud and Lou are really off form with this one
