This is a must for my Search & Rescue Border Collie who takes way to many risky routes while doing air scent tasks. That being said, the original purchase came with a broken clasp on one of the connecting shoulder straps (the spring is not in the right place). I initially reached out to them and they provided a replacement, but it was a 4 pt.harness strap rather than a shoulder strap. I reached out again asking to replace the shoulder strap (and mail back the 4 pt. Harness straps), but it was crickets for a response. I cannot find a shoulder strap to purchase that matches what came with them elsewhere either. Again, GREAT product, but really would like a new strap and I get no responses.

It's probably a bit heavy for long backpackers and hikers but it's great for what I need. Wanted a sturdy emergency harness for my smaller hikes that will hold the dog securely. This definitely does! Great support for the bum, can't see the dog slipping out. I imagine the straps will rub your shoulders raw after a while, but if it's to help save my fur ball I can deal. Seems very sturdy and well made. Won't know until I need to put it to the test. Hopefully I never will!
