Incomparable with Rove 24-hour Parking Mode
I have a Rove R2-4K Dual camera dashcam that uses USB-C for power. My existing Rove hardwire kit (older) uses Mini-USB. While this adapter did provide power for operation, the camera would not go into 24-hour parking mode (think Sentry mode). Why? Rove cameras expect to receive specific voltages on pin 8 of the USB-C connector. This is how it detects the Rove hardwire kit - a requirement for 24-hour parking mode.Save yourself some time - purchase an updated hardwire kit properly matched to your camera’s power interface.
