Great shoes
Went hiking in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming and these she’s were GREAT! Very comfortable and had no issues with blisters or with getting. Them wet or wearing out. If you wear a 9 then order the 9, the fit it true to size.

Less than 10 months.. they sent me a new pair!
It's a great fitting shoe. Bought them for a backpacking trip in March and they fit great and performed wonderfully right out of the box pretty much.. But it's been less than 10 months and the shoe bottom is separated from the top. Can't even look at water without my foot getting wet now. Now they are for indoor use only. My wife wrote the company, and they sent me a new pair. My 2 star review is now more.

I thought these would last far more than 11 months, since previous pair lasted years
I bought these Merrell Men's Moab 2 Vent Hiking Shoes for $60 just before 2024, which I purchased because the pair I had received before lasted years, with daily and frequently active, use. from going up and down stairs, to gardening, to otherwise working outside, to sports (soccer, basketball), etc., which I thank God this 72 year-old, 130lbs 5.4'' could engage in. However, although the pair of Merrells that I was given before actually lasted years - and which I am wearing right now - yet to my surprise, with the same use the new pair (which I thought was the same version, but the old ones have more cushion) only went 11 months before I noticed that the fabric at the toe had ripped about 2 inches on the right side pair, and was starting to pull away on the left, even though this pair is slightly longer than the old pair. Of course, with glue repair I can continue to use these for some time, and which is far longer than the 3 months or so that the typical $15 Walmart sneakers that I usually bought lasted, but for the price of 4 of these I thought these Merrells would last longer. As mentioned before, the only difference that I notice that the older pair had was/is that of more of a cushion (I did not add any), which in turn could reduce stress on seams, if there was enough room

High quality
Can’t say enough good things about these shoes. This is my second pair. The picture above is my old shoes vs my new one. The old shoes are just shy of 2 years of use worn almost daily. Great quality shoes

I wanted to like these shoes, but they were a dissapointment
Honestly, I don't understand why these shoes are rated 4 and a half stars. My feet constantly hurt in them after walking more than 1 mile. They're very hard shoes, not comfortable at all. And I thought because they have the Vibram sole they'll be comfortable and good for my fee same as my boots (different brand) that I bought a few years ago with a Vibram sole, which I'm genuinely impressed with and are my favorite boots. These don't come anywhere close though to being as comfortable. For the price I honestly feel like this is a rip off, i threw my money away and am very disappointed in them.
