Dunham Men's AFT 2-Eye Boat Shoe

This is my third pair of Dunham shoes. They fit well and just feel good, so I wear them almost every day. The last two pair have lasted about four years each.My previous Dunham's were the Shoreline model which has three lace eyes. It was a fairly heavy shoe. I was not able to find that model in the width I needed, so I purchased this AFT two eye boat shoe. It is much lighter, but seems to be the same high quality. It is a good looking and very comfortable shoe.

I found the width to be more wide than I expected. But not so loose that they are hard to wear or anything. I guess I'm not used to a boat deck shoe, they seem to feel more like a moccasin, than a shoe with a lot of support or structure. On that point, the arch of the foot has no real support. That said, these are super comfy. Like a bedroom slipper. But with a nice style, especially when 95% of guys wear athletic shoes with jeans, these look much better and gets compliments.The thing that really bugs me is small but worth stating. After 2 months, one of the leather shoe laces snapped apart/broke at the top eyelet while tying my shoe. Again, I am used to nylon laces, not leather laces, so I was surprised that such a new pair of shoes would have a lace snap after 2 months.Now I have to see if my (all thumbs) fingers can lace up a 360 degree shoe lace type shoe. I never looped a lace all the way around and in and out on this type of shoe. Hints/tips?I think I'll just go to my local shoe repair shop and buy a lace, and ask them to replace it. :)Thanks for reading.

I ordered these shoes and have been wearing them a lot on weekends. They are unbeatable for comfort.However, the insoles lasted about 3 months and the tops are coming off the insoles. I contacted the company and they offered me the opportunity to "buy" a new pair of insoles. They were pretty insensitive and not helpful at all.

These are lightweight comfy shoes. My husband prefers these to all other loafers he has worn. He lost his last pair to his brother-in-law, who is suffering with liver cancer. His feet hurt so much (from his meds) that walking is difficult. He tried on my husband's shoes and wouldn't take them off!

When I first slipped these on I was worried they might be too small but they are perfect. And they are like feathers on my feet. I'm looking forward to wearing these all the time including on my boat! I've owned Sperry, Sebago, Timberland and Cole Haan but these are the best!

Size is true, maybe a little large. Required no break in. Put them on and wore. Very light weight.I would have preffered a darker color, but this is all that was avaiable.
