Just what I needed, and it was delivered in 2 days

Saying it's heavy duty is a little bit of a stretch, but it worked for my needs. I just have a short light curtain on it covering a window on a wood door.

What a cheap product. What you might expect of a made in China product. I should have known better. First it’s not two piece rod like most of these are. Nothing in the description tells you this. It’s three pieces; two ends with a center piece and zero support for the center piece. Thin flimsy painted aluminum; not much more than foil thick. Even with lightweight 55x45” shear curtains the rod sags in the center. Second the three pieces do not slide together properly and do not fit together properly without a bit of force. Third and finally they are not a full 48” when fully extended. They are 47.4”. I’ve use these types of rods before for back curtains like shears. Believe me buy them at Walmart or Fred Meyer where you can feel through the package and know the weight and sturdiness before buying them. These are not worth something you’d get at a nickel arcade let alone the $12 paid. This rod went in the trash and is now someplace in the county dump where it belongs.

They work but are very poorly made. They are 3 piece per rod, very thin metal, inconsistant fitting/ sticky and cost twice what Walmart charges for better quality
