Mr. Viet Good Morning Vietnam 500 g Roasted Whole Beans Coffee

I have been drinking instant coffee for years and decided to make the move to ‘real’ coffee. As soon as I opened the bag I knew I was getting something extra special compared to the store bought freeze dried stuff. The aromas of chocolate, nuts and mild spices were utterly delightful; the taste was also delicious! I genuinely can’t see myself going back to the instant stuff any time soon; it’s garbage in comparison. I look forward now to trying many other different kinds of coffee. Five stars 🌟

The aroma of the coffee grounds is very unique and pleasant to smell before brewing. I like this coffee with the French Press if I want the full flavor to smack me awake in the morning. For later in the day I do a pour over to get it less oily while keeping the caffeine concentration high. Great value for the price if you want to try Robusta coffee.

This is an unusual coffee - it's definitely better quality than any supermarket-bought coffee, though the unusual flavour may or may not be to everyone's taste. I found it was good for a flat white or cappuccino, but the flavour was a little overpowering for an americano or espresso. It's very finely ground - perfect for filter/espresso machines, but you may find a little of the grounds make it through the mesh on a french press.

This ground coffee that we purchased was packaged in June 2018. The taste is a lot lighter than we expected and not very fresh. The seller should have stated when it was packaged.
