Exactly what I was expecting and wanting. Good size, good sound, looks good.

really dont love the gong sound it makes. its not deep enough of a gong noise. there is a lip around the whole thing like a baking pan has walls or a stove burner cover. it is not a disk type gong or cymbal like i was expecting.

The gong is much better quality than we’d expect Ted for the price. It’s incredibly loud too! Very impressed!!

I bought this to decorate near a cabinet with a painting that both look quite Asian style so this little gong is a great addition to complete the looks. The sound is quite loud and it looks good with the ribbon. I certainly will bang it sometimes to bring up the ‘positive energy’ in the room. Haha.
