Garage Door Opener Keypad Compatible with Liftmaster/Chamberlain/Craftsman Openers, Replace G940EV-P2, 878MAX, 877MAX, 877LM, 377LM, 977LM, Wireless Keyless Keypad

Easy programming if you know what you're doing. Takeaways I learned from a few minutes of googling which might save someone a few minutes in the setup process (for reference, I was programming 3 Liftmaster garage doors): 1. If you have a Learn button on you wall control, you do NOT need to climb a ladder to hit the Learn button on the unit. Follow the steps in the instructions, and hit the Learn button on your wall unit 1 time (light will blink), then hit it again (light will blink again) and this puts your unit into programming mode. 2. After you're done the Learn step, when you enter your 4 digit pin on the keypad, HOLD the enter button (don't just hit it once) until the unit clicks/lights flash. That's when you'll know the programmming was successful. 3. I was able to program 3 garage doors quite easily. I just repeated the same step 3 times for each Liftmaster unit and gave each garage door a unique PIN. Worked like a charm. 4. If you want one touch close, hold "9" and "1" down for 10 seconds until the lights on the keypad blink. Then you can hit "Enter" to close your garage door after entering the PIN (I think it has to be within 15 seconds or some number) and the door will Close...Stop coming down...etc. Just programmed it and installed on my house (fit perfectly with the existing holes of the OEM Liftmaster Keyless Garage Door Keypad I installed 10 years ago so no new holes needed to be drilled, in fact, I used the existing screws). All 3 doors open/close as they should and then one-touch close feature (now that it's enabled) works well, too. Will update if any issues arise, but so far, 5 stars for ease of programming and integrations with existing equipment.

Works with my Chamberlin garage door as it should. Easy to setup but I could do without the beeping.

Good, solid keypad. Like that it beeps when pressing buttons. Original one did not do that so this is much easier to use. Better buttons as well. Good price as well. One drawback (minor) - need to enter the code when closing. That was not required of the original.

Well, I finally put this garage door opener up, so I’m happy to review it. My previous garage door was purchased at one of the big box stores and didn’t work very well. My other garage door openers, and the one that broke with a champion brand. This looks almost identical to that brand, it works identical to that brand, and I’m so happy I purchased it. Trying to program it was a bit of a challenge and took several tries before it finally connected. I can’t tell you why it connected, but I’m happy that it finally did. Great product, would highly recommend.

Very inexpensive alternative to the name brand openers out there. Easy to program.

While physically it looks the same there are a few differences. The back-lighting on factory one was an off-white and lit up thru the button while the this one has a red light that surrounds the button. The factory unit didn't "beep" with each key entry and this one does, which is a bit annoying. The only ofther feature that this is lacking from the factory keypad is the ability to close from an open state with only using the "enter" button. That feature was nice as only one button had to be pressed to close it when leaving for a walk or to close it while cutting grass.
