It is a good quality spice and it is half the price of local retailers.

We ordered the cumin and got it quickly. However, not only was the container broken but it was also open. We expected a secure product and received one that we didn’t trust using. So it was money, we feel, was wasted.

The bulk of the seasoning is in the container but will need to be transferred to a more permanent container that seals properly.

If you enjoy the taste of cumin, this 5-lb. jar should do the trick! We enjoy cumin in chili, mostly, but it is also good in curries and other sauces. It can be used on anything, really.Did you know they found cumin in the pyramids? It's true! That pyramid cumin probably lost its taste a century or so ago, but this 5-lb. jar should last and stay flavorful for at least a year or two, when stored properly.This is good, fresh ground cumin powder. I don't think we'll need any more for a long, long time!

Item was damaged and comes up as “not able to return/replace”

When I unscrewed the lid, the inner paper/foil seal was very loose which may be the reason this cumin had an off/stale taste. As compared to an existing open jar of cumin I had, the aroma/flavor of this product was "earthy" but not rich like the cumin I had been using.

I don't trust using this since it was not securely packaged.Afraid to use it. Kind of smells like kerosene.Waste of my money.
