I’ve struggled in the past with hoses constantly leaking or spraying everywhere when switching attachments, so I decided to try the Gardena Premium Water Stop, and it’s been a game-changer. It instantly stops the water flow when disconnecting, which makes changing hoses or attachments completely hassle-free. Installation was quick and easy, and the build quality feels very solid and durable. It may seem like a small accessory, but it has made my garden watering routine so much tidier and more convenient. Highly recommend for anyone who’s tired of the mess and frustration of traditional hose connections! Honestly, so much better than what I had before and good value for money I find. Had it for about 2 years now and still as amazing as on day one :)!

Simple the best quality hose ends you can buy. We use them on the small holding and they’re out in all times of the year. Never failed yet.

i bought this in conjunction with some other gardena products as a) i was fed up with dripping and leaks b) i liked the idea of being able to change spray guns without having to turn the tap off. as far as point 2 is concerned, this so far seems to be working a charm. I can now have the tap on full and no water comes out the end, not even a drip until i connect a spray gun or sprinkler. This is the kind of cheap useful technology i love. as for point 1, there are so far no leaks out of the device, but I am waiting to see with the full Gardena connector setup if my leaks have been eliminated. If the tap connector end works aswell as this then I will be well pleased. Only negatives for me so far are that it feels a little bit plasticy, but that is fine. still 5 stars over all. I marked the value to 4 stars as the hozelock equivalent is half the price but i don't know how good that one is to compare. Thanks

I purchased a few of the various Gardena Premium Frost Resistant Water Stop and also the Hose Connectors. Excellent Premium quality products from Gardena with 5 year warranty so again keep your reciept and packaging. Very sturdy and well built products that compliments when used with Gardena hoses and reels. I have used this brand for years and found them better than the other well known competitor brands East to fit to hose. Easy grip and simple to attach and remove. Again only niggle is price of products but you are getting 5 year warranty so that more than makes up for that issue. Would recommend Gardena garden hose reels and their products but that is only my own personal opinion and others may disagree. Hope this helps

The build quality of these makes them worth every penny. I’m slowly upgrading my hosepipe and irrigation pipe connectors from Hozelock to Gardena. I’ve reliably used Hozelock for years, but their plastic fittings eventually go brittle, even with careful use, leading to leaks. The premium range from Gardena is allegedly frost-resistant. I’m not planning to leave them exposed to the elements over winter, but this should hopefully mean they withstand the cold in the shed better than the all-plastic versions.

This is excellent. I got one and now intend to replace my HozeLocks. The HozeLocks leak; this does not - not a drop. It grips tenaciously. And the icing on the cake is that when you disconnect whatever it's attached to, it automatically stops the water. I've been repeatedly blasted in the face by the HozeLocks snapping off while using a garden fertiliser sprayer attachment (Birchmeister- worth every penny), and sending a jet of water all over me. Then the water gushing out while you trek back to the tap, re-attach, walk back to turn on again, walk back to the hose. No more! It's more expensive I assume than the others but worth it.

Premium product for a reason… I prefer to pay a little bit more for this one

The product did not fit my Gardena branded 5/8 hose despite the product packaging and description indicating it would fit 1/2 - 5/8. In addition, Wish Fulfilment (the seller) has a deceiving return policy. They will not pay for return shipping and said they would refund the return shipping once they received the package. They did not. Amazon also denied my return shipping claim for A to Z guarantee saying “this return is not a result of an error on the part of Amazon.ca or the third-party seller”. I guess it’s my ignorance thinking the 5/8 Gardena hose end should fit my 5/8 Gardena hose.
