Would buy again.
What can I say, great bag of rocks! Used to amend succulent soil mix. Also as top dressing. Helps prevent root rot. Aerates the planting substrate. Size of acadama is perfect.

18lbs bag, perfect! No fancy packaging, little dust.
I got the 18 lbs bag, that’s what it weighed on my scale, it comes in a box and in a plastic bag, nothing fancy. The bag is not really good for storing it so I used a container to store it. I sifted it getting very little dust for the amount I got. I’d say half a pound of dust maybe. The particle size is perfect. Well worth the money.

Good product, weight not as described.
Good product, but I only received 17 lbs, not 18 lbs as described.

Not what I expected
Some dust. Not a hard akadama soil as I would like. Got shorted on the weight by 1lb. because the bag was open inside the box. Not buying this again.

Very nice
As described. Good uniform size, very little decomposition into dust.

disappointed
size of particle was 1/4" at maximum, half of the particles were smaller. The material was not the same density I am familiar with. It crushes between finger pressure. I believe it will breakdown rapidly and turn into a muck at the bottom of the pot. The product was shown in a bag with Akadama text but arrived in a unmarked plastic bag.

Product is good and as advertised
Price per lb was competitive and product received is as advertised in listing. I got the 1/8" variety but if I had to do it again I'd grab the 1/4" for the purpose I have, which is a gritty soil mix. Aesthetics is the reasoning my I'd go 1/4" next time. Either size will work for my purpose but 1/4" visually looks closer in size to the other ingredients going into my gritty mix.
