Purchased this just to sift grains. We mill our own flour so I buy grains in 25 lb bags. An organic product can sometimes can have chaff (some of the hull) left on, bad pieces of grain and even small rocks. I don't want to take any chances running it through my Mockmill Lino 200 so I "sift" and sort small quantities at a time before I grind my flour. This works perfectly keeping the grain and larger debris that can be picked over on the screen and the dust and chaff goes through. It's very sturdy and put together well Perfect solution for me!!

I bought this to dry out peppers in the oven and for that, it works great, but now my gf uses it to clean beans, rice, quinoa, etc. Good useful kitchen strainer.

This strainer meets my needs. I love the shape and fine mesh, also that it has feet to sit on counter. I use it for many things and may order a smaller one.

This is a great strainer, and doesn’t take up as much room as a colander type strainer. I would definitely recommend one of these
