Nice little home decor. Not difficult to input. Not big but good enough for my application.

Was never able to connect device in order to update / change the sign.

I'm using my Santek EZ Door Sign for motivational phrases and quotes. I have it at my workstation to remind myself that I am and can stay happy and content, in spite of what bothers me and what is out of my control. I like this little sign with its five little messages I have programmed into it and can access easily. I especially enjoy the 15 second period of time it takes to manifest the next or previous message. I don't understand why some reviewers seem too impatient to wait a mere 15 seconds for this change. Perhaps they could use some more patience themselves. Instead of "Life is too short to wait", try this out: "Life is too short to be anything but happy". The controls on this device are super easy to use, the device is a breeze to program, and I like that it has an auto power down too, using almost zero energy while still displaying your screen.

So a little bit of backstory I'm an IT Manager for a large corporation, and have been looking for something like this to stick on my door to let people know where I'm at.The good: it's simple and reliable to use, the display is easily readable. Priced right.The bad: it takes way too long to cycle through the messages.All in all it's going to suit my purposes just fine and anyone that needs to display static messages on a door or for a similar purpose will more than likely be perfectly happy with this.***Side note, yes the display is not recognized by your PC when you go to configure the messages with the app, you may have to download the specific driver for the serial com device. Although if you're running Windows 10 or Windows 11 running Windows update with the device attached should download The right driver.

I purchased this sign to use as an "out of office" notification for my office door. The software worked great, and it was easy to transfer my designs to the sign. I wish the device had separate buttons for each of the sign slots, instead of slowly cycling through each design to get to the desired one, as it takes awhile for the device to refresh. Maybe the next iteration could have that. My main problem is that the device is too delicate. I have the sign mounted on my office door about 4' above the floor, which is carpeted. I accidentally knocked it off it's magnetic mount causing it to fall to the floor. The second time I did this (I probably should have mounted it in a different location on the door) the button broke, making it unable to cycle the designs. I was sent a replacement unit, but within a month, it too had the one interface button on the device broken by a 4' fall onto a carpeted floor. The device weighs next to nothing, so I would think it would be able to survive such a small distance onto a padded surface. I was testing this to see if I wanted to offer it to other coworkers, but due to it's fragile nature, I was unable to recommend it.

I needed an office (cubical) status sign to let coworkers' know when I was in the building but on the production floors. This allowed me to meet that need being able to customise the messages for my working conditions.

This product was great for the short amount of time it worked. Now the sign only says "Available". Don't waste your money.

Allows me to update my location for visitors to my office.
