Solid and appears quality, happy so far!
Made a tensioned dog run from various pieces of hardware and preferred the project of designing my own, this turn buckle worked great in tensioning the 80 foot braided steel line. Time will tell in terms of how tight the buckle remains, whether the check nuts loosen, how it holds up against rust, etc. But at this stage very happy and hoping to get many years of use

Awesome and smooth to turn.
These exceeded my expectations. I purchased them to anchor a tree to my deck, and they are head and shoulders above what was available at my local big box hardware store.If I had to ding them on anything, it would be the cotter pin that is designed to keep the bolt from slipping out of each end. It was a bit fiddly to deal with, and practically anything would have been better. That did not detract from the usability of the product.I will be purchasing more in the future for another application that will place a great deal more stress on them. I am sure they will be able to handle it.

Exactly the right part
I could not find a zinc-plated steel version of this turnbuckle at the local hardware store, and lo and behold, found this stainless steel version thru Amazon! A perfect fit for my application (repairing a mower). The part is exactly as it should be, and was shipped quickly with no problems.

A little small, get one size bigger than your wire rope size.
The beautiful polished finish tells me right away that I made the right choice with these! The weight feels top quality. I had cheaper eyelet 1/8" turnbuckles and said "NO." Couldn't trust them. So I got this stainless steel set in 3/8" and they're perfect. I love the clevis openings CHEAP cheep cheep for what I got. VERY happy!

Once you adjust it to where you want it you tighten the nut once you put it in place it stays there
Very durable and adjustable once put in place on Windy days it doesn't retract once put in place it stays in place
