Great, wish I'd bought years ago....
So helpful in measuring one handed jobs, if you DIY or work with jobs where you need to measure distances to +/- 2mm over 2-30m then this is a god send... Uses 3x AA rechargeables batteries.... can use Alkaline too....

Device faulty - battery error
The device arrived yesterday, I used it today for a building survey and it was just turning off all the times while measuring and it was showing the following sign “!” It was showing “Error” on the display a few times and even after putting new batteries in it, this kept happenings. Sometimes it was showing that the barrels were full, other times empty (new ones)… I’ve been struggling a lot using it today and I’ll definitely return it 😩 any advice on a good Laser measuring device not too expensive?

Works well except charging
It measures perfectly & is easy to use but battery charging is not so good. Why? 1) The indicator is unreliable. 2) It gets very warm sometimes. However, it does apparently take regular batteries as well although I’ve not tried them yet.

Not bad given price but not great either.
The device is quite temperamental often with errors and then takes some time to reset itslef. When it does work it is useful.

Brilliant product, I use this tool frequently to measure clients homes. It hasn't let me down with accurate measurements and great battery life I would definitely recommend.
