Installed on my 2019 CX-5; the front Door Sill Trim Plates have the CX-5 Logo
Just installed on my 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. I’m doing a review since the Weigesi door sill trim plates I received look different than the pictures in other reviews. My trim plates look exactly like the photo on the Amazon web site as of December 2019, and the front door trim plates clearly have the “CX-5” logo on them as shown in my pictures. The rear trim plates do not have the “CX-5” logo. All four trim plates came with two strips of 3M mounting tape and I added some additional double-sided "3M Attachment Tape" for good measure; the two strips of mounting tape that came on the trim plates would probably have worked fine without the additional tape. The trim plates seem well made, and they arrived in a secure box with the chrome parts nicely protected with a thin film that needed to be peeled off before installing the plates. I dry fitted the trim plates, used tape to mark the installation location, cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol, and installed the trim plates. As a comparison, the 2017-2020 Mazda CX-5's all use the same OEM accessory door sill trim plates, and these 2017-2020 OEM trim plates use thin coin-type batteries for illumination and cost $400. The Weigesi trim plates are non-illuminated and cost $30. The 2020 CX-5s are just getting to Mazda Dealers now, and an obvious question is: will the Weigesi door sill trim plates fit on the 2020 models? I can't 100% guarantee they will fit on 2020 models, but the OEM trim plates are the same from 2017 to 2020 and these Weigesi plates should fit the 2020 models. I suspect someone with a 2020 model will buy the Weigesi trim plates and report on their experience in the very near future. The $30 non-illuminated Weigesi trim plates look almost identical to the non-illuminated Mazda OEM door sill trim plates the Mazda dealer installed on my 2016 CX-5. The $400 Mazda OEM illuminated trim plates for 2017-2020 CX-5's would be very nice if you want to spend the money, but I was happy with my non-illuminated 2016 OEM trim plates and I’m equally happy with these $30 Weigesi door sill trim plates on my new 2019 CX-5.

DOES NOT FIT
Stainless Steel Door Sill Scuff does not fit at all my cx5 2020 gt, as the description is stating, it is so thin than you can even scratch the car when you try to fit it to the car. The CX5 2020 does not have a flat surface, it has a little grove than won't let you stick the sill to the surface, Description must be change. Had to return it.

They look nice enough
These are pretty nice for $35 however the Mazda front door sills are stepped leaving a long air gap under this scuff plate so I can see where it will probably lose it's grip after a period of time being bumped over and over with shoes like work boots etc unless secured with more then the included very thin double sided tape. Perhaps a bead of silicone RTV to fill in the gap and add more grip.

Nailed it!
When I purchased this item there were no reviews, so I am the guinea pig. This time it paid off as this was a great purchase. It is well constructed and designed. Very elegant from my point of view and no cheesy logos to detract from the sleek design. Mazda made these vehicles with a high step-over so smaller members of the family have a hard time getting in the car without stepping on door sill. I knew it would be a matter of time before the paint was scratched in this area. These scuff plates are just what was needed. No more, no less. When installing, make sure to position plates pretty flush with the frame edge as Mazda has made several ridges to work around and the rear one can keep scuff plates from bonding properly. Other than that it was an easy install. Price is good considering this is a niche specialty item and well designed and constructed. Highly recommended.

Too soon to say
I do like all, but durability & convenience takes time, just one little thing, probably a bit bigger in width and length to cover more would had been better.

So far so good.
Just installed a few minutes ago. It's good so far. Take a little time to put them on because of the film that has to be peeled off. The adhesive good have been a bit stronger.I will update as time passes.

Look Great!
Look great and fit my 2015 Mazda CX-5 perfectly. Find the flattest spot on your door sill and it should work nicely.

Good quality; looks great
Excellent quality and adds a touch of bling to the car. Applied in minutes and covers up existing scuff marks. Rapid delivery from China too - a week to arrive.
