Good baby bjorn dupe
We have the Baby Bjorn bouncer. Our baby loves it. We wanted another one for her to take to daycare but obviously didn’t want to spend $$$ on a spare one so we got this bouncer instead. So if you’re curious on the difference and whether it’s worth it to spend a lot more on the Bjorn version, keep reading! They’re pretty comparable. About the same size and footprint. This seat took just a few minutes to set up. It’s pretty sturdy. Key differences between this AMKE seat and the Baby Bjorn:- The seat doesn’t bounce as much. The frame is more rigid. Not a big deal for us tho as our baby isn’t a real bouncey kid anyway.- The plastic piece that controls height on the back is easier to maneuver than the bjorn but also feels cheaper/more liable to break eventually. There also doesn’t seem to be a way to “lock” it closed so that when you lay it flat and pick it up, it doesn’t pop open again. You just have to carry it such that it doesn’t open. Bjorn does have this feature, which is nice if you plan to travel with the bouncer often.- The seat cover is not washable according to the instructions which is weird considering it’s a baby item. Bjorn covers are washable no issues. Maybe you could wash this too and be fine but I’m not gonna risk it shrinking.- This AMKE bouncer sits slightly more upright at its most upright setting which I prefer.- This seat has a slightly lower weight limit than the Bjorn (I think this one is 24 pounds max and Bjorn is 29?) but that doesn’t matter too much because around 20 pounds a lot of babies can roll themselves right out of seats like this and can’t use them anymore anyway.- The biggest difference is how deep the seat is. The AMKE seat is a lot shallower and the fabric has no slack or give to it. So sometimes it seems like my baby is sort of laying diagonally such that if she wasn’t strapped in she would slide right out. She doesn’t seem to care. But the Bjorn bouncer is more like a true seat.In the end if we were going to be using this bouncer long term or with additional babies maybe we may have sprung for the more expensive Bjorn…. But this bouncer is great and a pretty solid dupe for our needs.

It does the job
This bouncer is a knockoff version of some more expensive brands. I find it very practical and easy to use. It’s nice to have a safe place to put your baby while you’re working around the house. I added accessories to it

My 3 month old son loves this bouncer. He’s on the small side but he fits well and it feels very safe. We also have the AMKE bassinet and love it.
