Best pump chuck ever
Pump heads are a pain.I repeatedly find that they randomly wear and fail, or a 'friend' uses it and for some reason the little bugger never behaves properly again.This Lezyne chuck (used on a Silca Superpista here) screws onto the tyre valve. This is a little more fiddly than the push or clamp on type.Once on the seal is easily and repeatably secure, leakproof and NotComingOffAccidentally. Not at all, no way.Under pumping it is secure and good to pressure.Unscrewing, again manually slightly fiddly, a slight puff of air - not sure if from valve or simply pump hose decompressing. Much less air than other chucks have been giving on removal.On returning to a tyre a week later I've been within 5psi of target so any removal leak was trivial.Hoping this chuck is a long term keeper.(Note Silca hose needed some trimming as the chuck seems build for a thinner hose).

Quality bit of Kit
Quality befitting the brand and it works! Unlike its predecessor which was more trouble than it was worth. I can recommend it.

Nice machined chuck
Pros:- with proper maintenance this should last a lifetime- can do both presta and schrader valvesCons:- some prefer the push on chucks to this chuck which is screwed onto the valveThe hose required for this chuck is 3.5mm ID and 8.5mm OD.I hope you find this review helpful

Great as a upgrade to other sub-standard pumps!
Very well made, i put this on an old foot pump which was fine apart from this bit! Works very well.

Valve saver
Always snapping valves? Then buy this. It's it takes 30 seconds to screw on. Can you change a tube in thirty seconds?

hose fitment
This is a well made product with a good design but the one shown here will not fit a std rubber hoses as used on most bicycle foot pumps as they will be to large .The hole diameter of the red securing nut is 8mm for those who want to measure existing hoses before purchasing.

Don't buy ABS2 buy ABS1. Just works
Does the job better then ABS2 which was very poor design. This at the moment seems a better connection to your inner tube.

Works on a track pump
Track pump stopped blowing up bike tyres and we thought it was time for a new one, but fortunately this saved the day. Very pleased
