Absolutely hands down best for me but I will say I’m Caucasian and my African American friend it did not help her at all totally night and day so keep that mind when buying this!

I’ve used multiple different numbing creams and was surprised when the one i usually use was surpassed by this one. The other one works pretty well so this one must be insanely good. I was severely incorrect.Before questioning application, yes I did apply it thick, wrapped in Saran Wrap and let it soak for an hour and a half exactly, which is apparently the “peak time of performance”.Before my artist started, I scratched my back and said “weird. Why do I feel my back is itchy if it’s numb? And why did I feel my nails scratch my back? Usually all you feel is your skin pulling in a direction, but when your back is numb you 100% don’t feel itchy or your nails”. If I could feel my nails, how is this going to hold up verse a tattoo machine? Well, it doesn’t.After the first jab, you feel everything. I began wondering why people have rated this product high. After looking more into it, the high reviews are people who got tattooed in areas that aren’t that sensitive, so it probably wasn’t too painful. But when you do a sensitive spot like me getting my back done, it actually does matter if the product works or not. I had to reschedule my appointment due to the pain after 40 minutes and will be switching back to my other product.Couldn’t be more disappointed.

I actually had some 10% from a previous procedure & I mixed a little with this product above. I put a thick layer on and wrapped it. Worked great until…because there was such lag time between putting the cream on and actually starting the tattoo, I only got a solid 1.5 hours of relief.I bought this off of another review of a colleague and I would agree it does work. Just don’t put it on as soon as they tell you.

Most of these numbing creams that have high enough lidocaine percentage will have harmful alcohol as a preservative to keep it stable. And the alcohol will burn if you try to apply it in the middle of your tattoo session. This product has a much more gentle preservative and can be reapplied during the session.

The media could not be loaded. Do not let people fool you ! This absolutely WORKS ! I could not believe it ! The consistency is like lotion . I left it on for 60 mins wrapped with Saran Wrap, the tattoo artist wiped me clean and went to work I felt him touching my skin, my muscle twitch a little but not painful at all… I got a BIG TATT on the back of my thigh, took about 4 hrs I will say I did feel a couple spots of pain closer to the end but nothing that could not be tolerated ! I kind of felt cheated because of this stuff, like we get tattoos knowing they hurt but it’s like a good hurt and you feel great afterwards but since I didn’t feel pain and when I did it was like a mild discomfort towards the end I felt like I didn’t get my tattoo high 😂 so I’ll need another one ! 😂😂😂 if you have big piece tattoos that you feel will be painful I highly recommend this ! I probably will not always use this because I do like pain with tatts this cream made me realize this LOL
