Wanted to love it
It leaks. I wanted this to take to work. It doesn’t leak by the spout but it does somewhere. I tried it a few days this week and made sure it didn’t tilt and it still leaked all over my truck seat. So the next day I didn’t fill it as full well still leaked. I started putting it in a grocery bag and when I take it out it has leaked all over and I have to completely clean the whole outside of the container. I so wanted to love it as it’s a pretty purple but it is worthless to me.

I was pleased with the item.
I like the color and quality. I used it for serving water and coffee. I had hoped it was a little smaller.

The top is not good quality materials.
The top is pretty and shiny, but not sure how long it will hold up to frequent use. We use it all day long. If I get a month or 2 out of it, I will be surprised. The screw top takes getting used to finding the “sweet spot” to screw out down properly. Third photo shows where the “sweet spot” is.

Fine for the price
It isn't the most substantial carafe; it feels lightweight and the materials seem on the cheaper side, but for the price I think it's perfectly okay. Consider the price some folks spend on name brand tumblers, etc. I think if you want a truly utilitarian item that will keep things hot a very long time and last a lifetime, look elsewhere. If you want a cute purple carafe to serve coffee in for guests or your family during meals, it's fine.

Great color
I got this because it was purple, it is really hard to find a thermal carafe in purple so I got it to see if it would be that bright of purple like the ad showed. Yes, it is that bright of purple. I was happy that it does keep coffee hot for at least 19- plus hours. I will see if it does last for 24 hours with hot coffee coming up this weekend. It was a little hard to figure out how to put the lid on. Start with the thumb tab to the left of the handle. Then rotate clockwise. It will turn freely and then get snug when it is on the right side of the handle. Then pull firmly until the thumb tab is aligned with the handle. It doesn’t leak and the flow is good so it doesn’t come out too fast or slow. It didn’t have instructions for it, just to clean it with vinegar before use, I would recommend you do that so no after taste of metal. The handle is nice to hang on to, just makes is easy to pour the drink without having to adjust where your hand is. It seems to be very good quality and should last a very long time. It is easy to clean and store, I am very glad I got this, defiantly a 5 star! It matched the description in the ad.

It does the job but could be better
The pitcher itself looks nice but the top that you screw on appears very lightweight and cheap. Having run a coffee shop a lifetime ago, we would use these ss carafes to keep the coffee warm instead of keeping it on the warmer for too long as it tends to make the coffee taste burned. Now this carafe works as it tends to hold the temperature for several hours. Naturally, the less quantity you have , the faster it cools. When I first pouring the new coffee I to this carafe and screw close the lid, it creates a seal with the pressure built up by the high temperature. But once you open and break that seal, all the heat escapes and the rest of the coffee gets much cooler. If you go in knowing that, you now know the limitations of this unit. Don’t have unrealistic expectations and you will find this useful.
