Paqu Jaya “El Peruano” is a medium/hot sauce made with Peruvian ‘yellow’ and ‘panka’ chilies. We blend chilies with fresh mangoes, garlic, white vinegar and a squeeze of honey. We do not use artificial thickeners or added sugar. Peruvian chilies have a unique taste and complexity that adds a wonderful dimension to a wide variety of food. Paqu Jaya “El Peruano” pairs particularly well with grilled meat, Veggies, BBQs, Smoked fish, Burgers, Seafood, noodles, rice and eggs. - Our chilies are harvested from the best growing zones in Peru. Yellow chilies from Tacna, Panka chilies from Barranca. - We do not add sugar. The product is suitable for vegans, kosher, gluten free. - This product delivers a bold, complex, fruity yellow chili heat, complimented by smoky panka chilies, mangoes, honey, garlic and a splash of vinegar. - Honey is sourced from a community of bee keepers deep in the jungle - Mangoes are sourced from our great friend in Piura ‘Farmer Nelson’ - We cook in small batches, by hand. The strength and color of chilies varies throughout the year, our chefs use their skill to create consistency.

This stuff is legit!
Wowsa! This stuff is amazing. Brings me back to Peru! It has the perfect amount of heat and wonderful flavor. We have been using it on everything lately. Its a perfect condiment ! We mixed some with mayo and drizzled it over some tacos. They were a hit during our super bowl party. Siracha is so 2017... Paqu Jaya is our new favorite!

Very tasty hot sauce
Very good. I'm not sure I like it as much a Sri Racha but time will tell. It oddly reminds me of a Korean Gochujang in flavor but hotter. If this was as cheap as it should be I'd invest more of my interest in it. Unfortunately the price of admission is not reasonable to replace my U.S. made sauces with this one. Still good. My star rating is strictly flavor related and have nothing to do with cost or the seller.

Paqu Jaya or Sriracha ?? DOH !
Bought this Peruvian sauce the other day from Amazon on a whim. Glad I did ! Turns out to be really good and so much so I added it to my go to first choice chili sauce line-up !Although in the mouth they taste and react different, I dunno which is better Sriracha or this Paqu Jaya. Only thing I can think of is to take it with me on a run to my favorite Mongolian or Thai grill where Sriracha is almost always next to the salt and pepper at the tables, and do some side by side taste testing on the same plates of food. Spice flavor reminded me of some Vietnamese soup a friend brought one day to work. Most excellent !I'll be experimenting with Paqu Jaya from here on out in my recipes too and hopefully update here.

Better as an ingredient rather than a “hot sauce”
Kinda like sriracha, but very minimal heat. Fruit and sweetness comes through, better as an ingredient rather than a traditional hot sauce. No complaints, just different
