Love the book spent hours googling the spice names to do my granddaughter a just add magic spice box, we will have hours of fun cooking after christmas with this book and special spices x

Best book ever my daughter loved it!

Recipes are missing measurements. Full of typos. Complete garbage. This should not be allowed to be sold.

Meine Kinder waren sehr enttäuscht, da es Innen schwarz & weiß gedruckt ist. Absolut nicht das Buch, dass in der Serie gezeigt wird. Oh, und ein paar schwarz weiß eingescannte Fotos. Hätte es mir bei den Preis denken können.

This cookbook is not serious. Intended as a gift to my daughter who absolutely loved the series- but the interior of this book, in terms of paper quality (regular A4 paper, nothing serious or even remotely romantic as in the movie), font choice is garish!!! Wasn't this book supposed to come from either the Middle Ages or at least the 1700's? Why then such a boring, ugly font- they always wrote pretty back then. Besides, some effort could have been used to give some aspect of having been handwritten, somewhere, at least the riddles. Nowadays we have hundreds or thousands of fonts available.I didn't care for the movie explanations slapped right in the recipe. That takes away all the fun. Interesting, yes, but can't they reference this information either in the table if contents or in the appendix??Flipping through I found some recipes were not edited ( see photo) They give no indication whether to use fresh fennel or the fennel seeds, no hints either, since no quantity is indicated. "Fenel" is even misspelled. In another recipe someone forgot to delete a line.I love the idea but really! Where is your heart when you create something! Is everything just for commerce, and is the writer and editor just a machine?

First off, this cookbook is a waste of money and I wasted money on the ingredients. It doesn’t come with spices like the description says. One of the recipes calls for one cup of tomato paste (that is way too much)!! I’m a huge fan of the show so when I ordered it, I thought it was gonna be cool but the recipes taste like garbage, there’s no table of contents or page numbers, has typos, and clearly isn’t professionally done. It may be fun to have as an artifact of the show but this is not a real cookbook!
