ELITE Qubo Fluid Home Trainer 2016

Bought this under a friends recommendation. It's my first ever roller, normally just get out on the road but in this poor weather it's a must!I really like this product. Works really well. Easy you set up. Compact when not in use/stowed.Runs quietly and very smoothly. I bought this with the tyre that is listed below the product, recommended additional purchase, apparently that's important.Well worth it.

Foolishly, I lent my old CycleOps Fluid Trainer to a 'friend' and have never seen it since! So, despite adverse comments about noise, I opted to buy Amazons 'Used, Like New' for £127. In superb condition, I found it easy to set up and quiet even though I had Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres on my hybrid. Nevertheless, I then put a Vittoria Zaffiro Pro home trainer tyre on and it became almost silent. As it didn't come with a front wheel block I simply substituted it for a couple of patio pavers which equalled the height of the trainer and that was it - perfection! One happy (and fit) bunny.

Easy to setup, good for 30 min blasts during the winter to keep some conditioning. Not noisy- good value

I was pleasantly surprised at how much quieter this turbo trainer was against my magnetic turbo I have, while it isn't completely silent I don't believe you will get much better without spending lot's more on a direct drive turbo. I live in an upstairs flat and have had no comment's from downstairs regarding the noise.I have this set up with a speed and cadence sensor along with the cyclops indoor training software, this enables me to do virtual power training. For less than £200 I had my winter training sorted without upsetting the neighbours.

This is easy to assemble and comes with a skewer but I didn't need to use it the clamp works great and gravity adds the friction to the roller. Noise really depends upon tyre choice and I tried a few -smoother the better. Resistance depends on what gear to are in. Overall I am pleased with this for the price -using daily.

Disappointed to buy what I thought was a brand new product to receive what looks like a repackaged one (definitely been opened and put together and been repackaged very badly) with marks on product and roller ball!!

There were some obvious signs of use on the item ( a few scratches & marks here and there ), even though the manual accessories were new ....

This is my first turbo trainer at the grand age of 58. I bought this one as it is the same as my sons which when l tried that l found it did just what l needed. If you just want to get some winter exercise without going out in the wind and rain and without all the whistles and flutes telling you how far you've gone or what your heart rate is etc etc then l throughly recommend this trainer for the price and build quality
