I bought this device after days of searching and settled on it for my farming needs particularly for the sensors and claimed functions....i could have done a better job than they did here.What is the issue?1. Once the set humidity is reached this device goes off and never comes back on even if you can hear the components active2. It also now seems that even when you place it back on and it shows your previous humidity setting, it does not trigger even if the set value is below.For #2, I made something to automate to put the device to come on and after a few days of monitoring, this is what i found.I had to toggle the humidity button all the way back to 50% for it to trigger, level it and goes off.Now i am here wondering what can i do with this crap. I doubt its the sensor since it reads value changes.They surely did not test this product at all!

* update. Kinda feel like these are way to easy to damage if you get it wet. Are the electronics even sealed? My current unit just died after it decided to overfill the lower tank for whatever reason. I mean it’s just plastic “trigger” and spring. I guess it got stuck. Screen fogged. Unit died shortly after trying to dry it out as i cannot return it.Previous unit ordered did not align with the base properly and would not even dispense water into the lower reservoir. Overall, questionable durability. Switching brand. Thankfully AC infinity make better units now.(* original review) Nothing fancy, but it’s better than using a reptile humidifier. The larger capacity is welcome as well as the increased mist levels. This humidifier is much better than smaller units i had been using.I don’t use the built sensor. I agree that it doesn’t appear to be very accurate, but i use and would recommend you get and inkbird and move on with your life. Much more capable and accurate than any built in meter and it will also control your dehumidifier.The spider farmer humidifier is fully compatible with external controllers since it has recall for all of the previous setting before power is cut. I’ve been using this unit for just about 6 months and it seems much more durable than reptile versions as well. Great machine. Plenty of humidity works well when others haven’t.I’ll be trying the 16L version for my large tent next.

Spider farmer 6L humidifier is beautiful in its ' simplicity. Install the hoses, add water in the tank and plug it in.+ easy to install+ stretch hoses allow to distribute the mist in two directions+ effective mist production+ silent+ big water tank- hoses accumulate condensation if curved- temperature display only in F°- dripping sound when low water level- the display turns off even when in use- really loose connection with the lid and primary hoseAll in all very happy with the product. Very effective humidifier. Keeps humidity level accurately. When installing make sure the condensated water does not drip on any electric devices! Primary hose could be longer.

The Spider Farmer 6L humidifier has been a great addition to my indoor grow tent. It is extremely easy to use, love that you can use out of the tent itself, and it's been a great source of humidity. Having a sensor for shutting off is an excellent feature and relieves a lot of stress with constantly adjusting, or turning on or off a humidifier, and having to have more humidity control. I will always be using these for future tents.

Spider farmers humidifier is ideal for using in your grow spaceEase of use and setup with the auto shut off when the right humidity level is met ….you can’t beat the value for the money and is also built with quality and is whisper quiet ….the reservoir is large enough to run for a while without needing to top it off .

I have a 3x3x5 tent and it struggled hard to even stay at 40% humidity. Also I'm on my second one now since the power cord just simply fell out the machine. I took it apart and you can tell how extremely cheap this thing is. Not worth the price that is for sure, and not for a grow room.
