V- Light Black Adjustable Desk Lamp with Heavy Duty Clamp Clip, Flexible Gooseneck Lamp, Bed Light, Reading Lamp, or Study Light, 14 inches

I was looking for a lamp with an adjustable neck to use with a specialty LED lightbulb that is bigger and heavier (infrared/ non-infrared) than a typical bulb. I looked at a bunch of these adjustable neck lamps and the necks were weak, the lamp became too top-heavy, and/ or they were poorly made. I took a chance on this lamp and to my surprise, it has a strong neck, accommodates my bulb, and is really well made! The clip function works for my needs. Only downside is that the cord is not the longest. I came back to buy a 2nd one!

This lamp works well as designed. However when clamped to a headboard of a bed, the flexible part is marginally strong enough to hold the lamp head up at an angle for reading.

Decades ago these were slightly better. But this one is very good. Seems sturdy and the neck stays put for me.

This was a replacement for the first one that was sent to me and was severely scratched and seemingly well used. PRO: can use a traditional incandescent bulb which is better for your eye and brain health. CONS: 1. Cheap plastic clip as opposed to traditional metal clip. 2. The clip has nowhere near the strength of my older clip lamp clips. 3. The plastic arm is cheap and cheap looking. Traditionally clip lamps have a metal arm. 4. Only good for up to 40 watts, as opposed to 60 watts. 5. Cord is on the short side. 6. Price is outrageous. Basically, the manufacturer decided to produce an incandescent taking clip lamp in order to fill a market void. As the seemingly only producer of said product the manufacturer took advantage of the situation and built the lamp literally as cheaply as possible and decided to charge as much as they can possibly get away with. Your better off getting a well made used one from that other place.

Sturdy, well made. I clip it to my easel to provide better lighting while painting. Love the strength of the clip and the bendable neck.

Using it clip on the hutch over my desk, great space saver. Large on button. Happy with it.
