I am pleasantly surprised that for the price, this play pen seems well made and is easy enough to assemble. I chose this one because it was less expensive but mostly because I needed it more quickly than similar ones that were slightly more expensive and were going to take longer to arrive. The dark gray pad that came with it is much loftier and better than the thin one in the picture, so I probably didn't need to purchase an additional one. My only issue is that the video showing how to put it up is in fast motion and not very helpful. There are other brands of this type of foldable play pen with much more instructive videos, explaining how they go up and fold down. Those videos could work with this brand too. I recommend the sellers update their video to make it more helpful.

You need to buy a pad to put in it but other than that we love it. We bought it for my granddaughter visiting. Her parents loved it and want us to give it as a gift for her 1st birthday. It was kind of hard to assemble because the components were tight but I think the have stretched out enough that assembly will be much easier. It has a "door" on the side that is quite convenient if an older child wants to go in and out. It is very roomy. My 6 ft son was able to sit in it to play with his daughter. I would highly recommend it.

I bought this item for my granddaughter and she loves it. It is also big enough for us to get in and play with her. Came assembled and ready to go.

The play pen is wonderful. Our baby loves the extra room to move around. The mat, on the other hand, is nor much more than a blanket and a trip hazard. I will be making a mat replace this one. Don't spend the extra money on the mat.

My little one has been on the move since 4 months! After three months, this has not only improved his happiness when playing because he gets more freedom in the safety of the playpen, but he'll enjoy us sitting in there with him with how large it is! We had to purchase additional padding in the form of a different mat because the padding that comes with it is too thin. Because it folds up, it easily can come with us if we visit the grandparents or go camping - very easy to reassemble and set back up. Very happy parents - we got our hands back!

It works well! I was able to put some floor puzzle mats on the floor which allows for safety in case my child falls. Overall super happy!
