Replacement with the six pack, AOTPAT Fuel Injectors were exactly what our 2013 Explorer, Interceptor, with the 3.7 engine, needed to bring back its top performance and fuel economy. As many know, these units speed much of their life idling. There idling time can be more to the engines detriment than miles spent on the road. Thus, over time, fuel economy and performance suffers greatly. The 3.7 now idles smoothly, take off is as expected, where top acceleration is back and runs like new. Very important, as I said in video, its best to replace ALL six injectors. Not just the one or more that showed misfiring. Frankly, it doesn't make good sense to go through all the work, take off the entire fuel rail, where all six injectors are exposed and only replace the one or the few. If you have a shop do the work, make sure you advise them to replace ALL six. For, example, one shop gave a lower price to replace just one. Again, all injectors are exposed after both rails are removed, and each injector is held on by only one clip, that removes easily, in our case. Then it's a matter of prep, then easy off and back on.
