Uzi UZI-MP-204R 15-Watt Megaphone with Siren, Adjustable Volume and Recording Playback, Black

I recently moved to a rural area where we have a great deal of land for the kids and dogs to play. I purchased this to call them back to the house and it works well. No problem getting the kids attention at 300+ yards and I don’t even know how far the dogs get away but once they learned that the siren sound means food, they come running when they hear it. Plus having the Uzi name on the side gives it a much greater cool factor.

I bought it to be used on stage in a band in a few songs so I didn't need it to be loud since i was going ot be using a mic anyway, or have any bells or whistles I just needed the "megaphone" sound. Surprisingly though its a really loud little machine. I had it at the house for a while before i took it to the practice space and had a blast scaring my girlfriend and dog with it. The record function, although i can't really think of a reason to use it other than a protest, is pretty nifty little feature.As for durability i can't really comment, i've only had it for a couple weeks and only used it a hand full of times. But it definitely gets the job done.

This megaphone didn't work out for the purpose we bought it. The sound just wasn't loud enough to talk to a small group of 50 people in a parking lot (gathered for the start of a charity ride). It would probably work nicely for indoors, but it doesn't have enough sound to work outside. By the way, the recording feature worked nicely and was easy to do!

This was purchased by me because my voice needs to be amplified as I have outside duty during class-changing at a Jr. High School. It was TERRIFIC when it worked, which-unfortunately-was only for 6 weeks. Then, it just stopped working in spite of changing the batteries. When I looked for exchanging/returning it, was advised there was only a 30 day window in which to do so. Think I'll send it back, anyway. It's no good to me now. :(

Great product thus far. It's loud, you can adjust the volume if you want, the folding grip is nice. The recording feature is simple to use. Feels solidly built. Overall, great product.If I was being picky, my only complaints would be that I don't like the siren they chose, and it would be better if it was rechargeable instead of requiring batteries (battery life is great though).

Nope. Got it in late April. Used it a handful of times at 1/4 volume. Speaker is now shot. Not worth the money. Will not buy again. I'd return it, but Amazon says it is past the return window. It will spend the rest of its days in a landfill.

First one I opened was just fine. Got what I expected. Second one, the box rattled - always a bad sign. Two of the control buttons had broken off and could not just be snapped back on. Additionally, the siren was off and on without me doing anything. Now I get to rate their return and replacement policy.

I'm a singer and I use it on stage with my band for a song.... the volume control allows me to adjust how loud I want it so I don't have to worry about feedback or having to guage how far back from the Mic I have to stand... I set the Volume equal to my singing voice and the transition is perfect!!!
