Q: Is this thin enough to be used with a rotary fabric cutter

Yes it is. The cutter works best if you tilt the top edge the cutter inwards so you minimise the risk of fitting the 'curve'. Enjoy it 😀

Q: Is this any good for quilting

I haven't used it for quilting yet but think it will be. It has good right angles, clear numbering in inches and centimetres on both straight and curved edges. It's sturdy and thick enough to use with a rotary cutter.

Q: Does this come with instructions please on how to use it?

I gave it away but I don’t think it did. The best I can recall is that there are guidelines imprinted on the tool itself for its use e.g. the intermittent holes are spaces for button hole spacing/sizing or the lines are for the seam allowance measurements. It does not indicate how to position the tool on paper/fabric. YouTube might help. The pattern master is more expensive but does come with drawing instructions.
