Requires a STRONG MOUNT.
This is a decent eyewash station, and fills a need where an eyewash station might be needed, but the area lacks any water hookup to use. I recommend using sterile saline solution, but plan water can be used in a pinch. One thing I wanted to point out, is that with 9 gallons of water in this, it weighs over 70 lbs. So first of all, it might require 2 people to install when full, depending on the location and how strong the person is installing it. And second, make SURE this is well mounted. The last thing you want to happen is to have someone run over to the eyewash station, flip it down to use it, and have it come crashing to the floor when it pulls out of the wall. Make sure you take the weight into account when mounting this and take the appropriate measures.

Don't trust the instructions.
For the price this is a good eye wash station. NOW, in the directions it says it can be hung by the back bracket. So, starting out I did not use the bottom plate and just hung it on the wall with the hook on back. I filled it up and (15 gallons) and it worked. Later I came by and it was on the ground spilled over. So, don't trust the instructions, (language complication?) You need to support the bottom as well.

Excellent alternative!
Fantastic item. We have a station with no plumbing. It holds alot of fluid so make sure you have a good spot to mount it that can support 15 gallons, between the weight of the fluid and the unit itself youre looking at just over 130 pounds probably. Im guessing on how much the container itself weighs. I havent weighed it empty. The container is a quality PE grade material, kind of plastic type, the wall mount is metal. It works very well, the flow is pretty decent for being gravity fed. So make sure its full so its has enough weight for force the flow. Excellent item for the price point. Have now snagged a couple of these and we couldnt be happier with them! Definately recommend.

Magula 15 Gallon Portable Eye Wash Station – Large Capacity, Practical for Remote Locations
This eyewash station was much larger than I expected, but the size makes sense. At 15 gallons, it provides enough water for a proper 20-minute rinse, which is essential for emergency use. I initially thought it was a 5-gallon unit, so the extra capacity requires some planning for placement, especially since a full tank weighs over 100 pounds. Thankfully, the integrated handles make it easier to lift and position. The real advantage of this unit is that it offers a certified eyewash station where running water isn’t feasible. While it does add a maintenance item to your checklist, that’s a small trade-off compared to the cost and effort of installing plumbing. It’s easy to fill through the top, and the dual-spray design works as expected. If you need a reliable, portable eyewash station for a remote or unconventional location, this is a great option. Highly recommended.

Solid unit - Works well.
I recently installed this OSHA-approved eye wash station, and it's a reliable addition to our safety equipment in my shop. I tested it, and it works great, but thankfully, I haven't had actually to use it yet. The dual spray feature provides thorough rinsing, which is crucial in an emergency. I really like how it's designed not to leak easily, ensuring that it’s always ready for use without any maintenance issues. The wall-mounted setup was straightforward, and the unit feels sturdy and well-constructed.
