Charges fast, does the job. Bought for rgb 660 lights. Better charging system than the 2 battery model, so made sense to purchase the 4 model.

I recently purchased three LED studio lights and have found myself being highly restricted by the short mains plugs. These are the perfect option for those looking to power heavy equipment light studio lights, field monitors and much more.Not only do these batteries have a high capacity but the charging dock is very impressive. The LCD screen shows you the battery level remaining as well as an indication of the charging process from empty to full. This is quite handy as I always have a spare one to hand so I don’t need to guess which one is full.All the batteries can charge simultaneously and do charge up quite quickly. You have the four batteries provided however, the charging unit is compatible with other batteries like the following… NP-F550, 570, 750, 770, 960, 970, 975, and more. So not only are you getting a charging dock with four batteries but the ability to charge other types of batteries too. this was great as I happened to have some 770’s lying around which I can use as well.All in all, I think the price is not bad considering the batteries last a long time. I have been using them for serval days now and I have yet to charge them. I am quite impressed overall. I can’t comment on their longevity but I have high hopes. The charging dock is just fantastic and allows me to keep on top of always having a full battery to hand. Highly recommend.Hope this review helps.

This 4-channel battery charger and four NP-F550 compatible batteries arrived well packed, in a Neewer branded, cardboard box. Inside is the charger unit, 4 x batteries, 3-pin power plug & power cord, power adapter, and instruction leaflet.The battery charger feels reasonably solid and well-built, despite being an all-plastic body. The size is relatively compact considering it has 4 bays, measuring just 19.6cm long by 9cm wide, and 3.2cm thick. The compact size does mean that when you plug batteries into the charger, they overhang the edge. Despite this, the batteries always remained secure in their ports.The four battery ports are independent of each other so you can mix and match different types of compatible batteries. When charging 1 or 2 batteries it uses 2A of current to both, but when you charge 3 or 4, it only provides 1A to each.There is an LCD display in the top right corner which lights up when in use. It is clear to read, with four symbols representing each battery. Each symbol can indicate the charge level of their corresponding battery, in one of five stages: 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.The Li-ion batteries are the same size and shape as the original NP-550 batteries. They are rated at 7.2V 2600mAh 16.7Wh.In use the battery charger worked well. It is fairly basic in terms of features but does the job it is meant to do perfectly well without any fuss. As someone with multiple batteries, it has saved me a lot of time and hassle. It’s also compact enough that I can stick it in my travel bag and take with me if needs be. This is a high-quality battery charger that comes with a 4-battery pack, and it is very nicely manufactured.Four NP-F550 batteries can be charged at the same time using the charger. When charging 1 or 2 batteries, it produces 2A currents, and when charging 3 or 4, it delivers 1A currents. The state of each battery's charging is displayed on a backlit LCD panel.This is an excellent alternative if you need numerous NP-F550 batteries and want to charge them all at the same time; the charger utilizes a UK 3-pin connector for optimum and speedy charging, unlike many other items on the market, which appear to use Micro-USB or USB-C instead.These batteries and chargers are of extremely high quality and general reliability. Due to their higher power capacity, I usually use the bigger NP-F970 batteries for my photography lights; however, they are too heavy and cumbersome for most camera monitors, which is where the NP-F550 batteries come in more useful.In conclusion, these batteries are as good as the original and I strongly recommend them.

This is a review of the Neewer 4 Packs 7.4V 2600mAh Battery Charger with 4 Batteries. This is a real asset to anybody who has equipment powered by this what seems to be a universal size/fit battery. The whole package with the charger dock comes in a plain cardboard box together with the 4 batteries and the main charger unit fitted with a UK 3 pin plug plus a set of instructions - see photos. I use this type of battery for my LED lights for photography, camcorder plus it's the video field monitor, so this is a welcome package that caters for all occasions in one bundle. It quotes that it delivers a 2A current when charging 1 or 2 batteries with 1A currents when charging 3 or 4 which seems reasonable with a backlit LCD screen shows the charging status of each battery in ascending bars - or graph-like screen - to show their charging status. So you have the option to charge one or all four at a time. A well thought out option that means its possible to charge all batteries in one go but having the option to see the charging process in progress.
