Kids love it even with this weight
Buying a 2nd one for my another kid asking to have one too, after having this for an elder kid. They love it even they're still small kids with tiny hands, they feel better balance and grip than the plastic pens. They said it makes writing a bit easier and faster (not sure if this is psychological...) The trigger is smoothly clicky and seems in top quality. The only downside is the eraser is hidden insider the end screw cap, which is easy to be lost by kids, but the pen will still work fine even without that cap.

A professional looking pen
This is my go to pen at work. It looks professional and works with my rocketbook really well. It's comfortable to use and allows me to avoid the silver tribal patterned plastic style that most frixion pens seem to come in. Will like buy another one in the near future for home use. My only critisicm would be that it feels a bit pricey for what it is but this seems normal for the pen market.

More comfortable to write with than the plastic version
On the whole, a more comfortable pen to use than the plastic versions, and it's also more resilient (my last couple of plastic pens got cracks in the lid etc.) and no loose parts for me to misplace.I would also say the eraser is more effective with this pen than the plastic versions, too. And it's easy to switch out the cartridges when they run out.

The only pen I'll ever use...
This is easily the best pen I have ever used. I always used pencil for the sole reason of being able to erase my chicken scrawl. Old school pen erasers are hilariously bad; taking half the paper with it.Anyone who states that this product doesn't work is either lying (for whatever reason), has replaced the ink with a standard variant (in which case they're an idiot), or is using their tongue. And even then I think that might work! (I will end up trying this)If anything this pen erases the ink better than a pencil eraser does, because a pencil will score the page more than a rollerball pen will.Is it worth the £20 (ish) for this version...possibly not, but I personally like the feel of a sturdier pen than a cheap plastic one. I would love to see quality like a Parker pen, then they'll have a truly premium product. In the interim, this will do nicely!PS. As expected, because your tongue is warm, it does actually work…kind of. However, I looked a bit silly licking my book, my tongue is now blue, my Moleskin is a mildly damp and I’ve probably poisoned myself. So perhaps using the eraser is best. Your call.

Stationary addict!
Love these pens! I have been using the cheaper Frixion pens and wanted to treat myself. Glad I did! Unlike the others that have the eraser at the top, you have to actually unscrew the top of this pen to use the pen eraser which I didn't figure out until I tested it out and realised it wasn't erasing the pen properly! Would help if it had an instruction leaflet with the pen which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

Perfection!
I've been using Frixion pens for years and recently teamed them up with a Rocketbook. I was delighted to find this grown-up version in silver and haven't been disappointed.I have arthritic hands so wasn't sure how a metal pen would handle compared to the ergonomics of the plastic version. It's perfect - the right weight, balance and grip for my hands. The Frixion LX pens come with a metal rather than plastic refill, which unfortunately I've not been able to find anywhere, even on the Frixion website. A normal refill will last me around 5 working days if I'm lucky. This refill has lasted me at least twice that. I don't know if it's psychological or if there is, in fact, more ink in the metal refill. I've switched to a plastic refill today so time will tell.Overall a genuinely pleasant writing experience that eliminates the need for Tipp-Ex. I love the way the eraser is hidden from view - you have to unscrew the very top part of the pen to locate the eraser. As with all Frixion pens, normal rubbers won't work.

Really nice looking pen
I really love this pen! I have used the Frixion pens for a long time, but this is a class above. It takes the standard Frixion refills and works just as expected. The eraser is in the screw on top of the pen and works very well. It's a classy piece of kit.

WELL WORTH BUYING
Received this today. Delighted with it. Have swapped the blue refill as I never use blue ink. The pen feels good to my hand and I like the little hidden eraser - it took me a while to find it though! It looks expensive and the box means it's not likely to get lost on the mess on my kitchen table!
