If it's good enough for Nicolas Cage then it's good enough for me lol. Really good solid watch with good features for an extremely small price tag. It's more legible than some of my Casio's. Also has that G-shock vibe going on. I can't fault this Armitron it's great. I own two analog Armitrons and they are excellent watches too and very nice looking. Great brand!

bought for my other half to use at work and he loves it. he likes the alarm function (which is an addition to the phone) which he uses when he's offshore.

Armitron Sport Mens watch review: I was in need of a simple digital watch that was rugged and affordable for my military service, and this watch definitely survived going through basic training with me. Design / Build: The watch is built decently, and under normal sport conditions might have faired better than the use-case that I put it though. Mud and gunk can easily infiltrate the side buttons and cause them to be stuck, requiring frequent clearing when I was out in the field, the watch-face is made of glass that I managed to scratch, though its still bearable and does not effect its function, and some of the painted letters and words are also faded from use. Functions: The watch functions still work to this day, it has a calendar (that can tell you what day it is today), 2 timezones that you can hot swap between, a stop watch , a night display light up function and an alarm-clock, perfect for camping or Military use where smart watches are not permitted. However unlike some other spots watches, it does not keep track of anything else, such as steps walked or heart rhythm. Overall opinion: Overall it has survived a tough life, and still functions fine and for its affordable price.

Compré el reloj un modelo táctico y resistente para uso diario y estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. Los materiales se sienten de buena calidad y el diseño es robusto, similar a modelos de alta gama como el Casio G-Shock. Me ha sorprendido lo bien que aguanta en agua salada y en la piscina; aunque no es para buceo profesional, cumple con los 100 metros de resistencia al agua que promete. La pantalla es fácil de leer desde varios ángulos gracias a los números grandes y el fondo azul con iluminación nocturna que cubre todo el display. Además, es sencillo de configurar para la hora y la alarma, y me encanta que se adapta bien a muñecas más delgadas sin resultar incómodo. Lo recomiendo especialmente a quienes busquen un reloj práctico y duradero para deporte o uso diario a buen precio.

Ein herzliches Hallo an alle Uhren und Filmfreunde : ) Die Amerikanische Marke ARMITRON sieht man leider hierzulande nur selten, diese hat eine lange Firmentradition und stellt bereits sehr lange elektronische ( Quarz ) Armbanduhren her. Das hier angebotene Modell gefällt mir sehr gut ! Das Material ist Top, kein billiger Kunststoff ! Ich mag das robuste Design mit den Schrauben in der Lünette, die bei ARMITRON Uhren immer echt sind und nicht wie bei manchen anderen Marken nur angedeutet. Die Uhr liegt wie man sieht sehr gut am Arm ( Auch bei schlanken Handgelenken ) was sie zu einer perfekten Sport, Freizeit, Alltags und Arbeitsuhr macht. Das sie 100 Meter wasserdicht ist kauf ich ihr ohne weiteres ab ! Was ich auch sehr schön finde ist die blaue EL-Hintergrundbeleuchtung die noch mal ganz anders daherkommt als bei Casio und Co., das ganze Display wird sehr gut ausgeleuchtet. Die groß gehaltenen Ziffern sind leicht aus jedem Winkel ablesbar und geben einen guten Kontrast zum Display. Fun Fakt: Das gleiche Modell wurde von Nicolas Cage im Film Willy's Wonderland getragen als er geputzt, Flipper gespielt, Energy getrunken und böse Animatroniks geschrottet hat : )) Gebe Euch hiermit eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für diese Uhr, überlegt nicht lang, wie oft gibt's schon so viel Spaß für so wenig Geld ! ; )

Willy's Wonderland 登場モデルニキのレビューを参考に購入。 映画「Willy's Wonderland」劇中で「男の中の男」と評されたニコラス・ケイジに憧れました。 映画の小道具を身に着けて観る作品は格別ですね。 映画冒頭、カマロのルームミラーにドッグタグがぶら下がってるシーンが一瞬映ります。ニコラス・ケイジが元軍人だと言う暗示ですが、戦場を知ってるタフガイが信頼している腕時計が手に入る...たまりませんね。 商品はしばらく8000円台だったのですが4200円まで値段が下がった為購入しました。 まずは質感です。 映画はともかく、Amazonの商品画像、海外ニキ達のレビュー画像以上に実物はチープです。 私も動画で伝わらないのがもどかしいですが、G-SHOCK GW-5000(右側)はともかく、2000円で購入したチープカシオF-201(左側)よりも安く見えます。 とにかくベゼルや3時9時位置のダミーボタン、ベルト付け根の黒いプラスチックの光沢感。更にはレンズとインナーレンズの質感も「本当にミネラルガラスなのか？」と思うくらいの頼りなさを感じさせます。(でも画像越しには伝わらないんだよなぁ。) ちなみに回らないベゼルの四角錐形状のモールドも頭が丸く大変チープです。 腕時計のスペックだけで見るなら残念ながらこの腕時計を4200円を出して購入する理由は無いでしょうか。2000円位なら妥当な価格かと思いました。 ホムセンの回転式陳列棚に沢山吊るされて売ってる安物の腕時計だって4000円も出せば電波ソーラー搭載のデジタルスポーツウォッチが手に入ります、それもタイマーアラームやストップウオッチ、バックランプ等は標準装備です。 ではこの腕時計の良い所は何かと聞かれると、 「フォントがバカでかく視認性が良い」所ですね。 当方40代のおっさんでして、比較画像のGW-5000を例にしますと、時間を確認したい→腰の高さの腕時計を見るけどフォントが小さくて見えない→手首を顔の前に持ってくるが目のピントがなかなか合わない。 となり、最近はアナログのセイコーダイバーを多用してました。 その点この腕時計はフォントがバカでかいので、腰の位置の手首を少し角度調整するだけで時刻が視認できるのです。おじさんにはとてもありがたい機能？です。 それ以外は競合他社に比べて良い所はありません(笑)。 ちなみに劇中場面転換の合図として何度も出てきて印象的だったアラームですが、微妙に音色が違うのが少しだけ残念。 正時の時報も短く鳴るだけです。(ピッピッ！) 劇中の様に作業⇒休憩⇒作業と繰り返しアラームを鳴らす為には「1本しか設定できないアラーム」を都度設定しないといけません。(45分間作業して15分休憩の場合、正常にアラーム設定作業開始→00:45に休憩アラーム設定→01:00にアラーム設定→01:45にアラーム設定→02:00にアラーム設定...と言う様に、ニコラス・ケイジは面倒くさいアラームを設定を何度も繰り返しながら清掃作業を行っていたと考えると休憩時間にシビアにならざるを得ないでしょう(笑)。※カシオF-201はアラーム4本設定出来ます。 レビューをみる限り海外ニキに愛されている腕時計ですが、こと日本国内においては価格の割にはスペックも平凡で特にタフネスも高そうではない。 ですが映画好きな方、映画の小道具が好きな方にはおすすめです。 エンジニアブーツにシングルライダースジャケットにデニムを履いてこのアーミトロン！ この格好で夢の国に行きたいな！ 最後の最後に、 私の商品は箱がボロボロで届きましたのでご贈答用にはおすすめしません。
