Best Christmas present ever!!
Once my daughter got it onto an iPad, my 4 year old grandson has constantly been asking to ‘do the Robin and Nikki thing’. It has so caught his attention and already they can see an improvement in concentration and manual dexterity. A time limit has been given for a session or he would be on it all the time.Well worth the initial cost and has extra games to add as he matures. I did warn my daughter of the need for it to go on the pad and that was the hardest part, especially in the heat of Christmas. The result, however, has exceeded all our expectations.Thoroughly recommended!

Educational app for 3 - 5 year olds
The media could not be loaded. I jumped at the chance to order this as my daughter (age 6) loves educational apps and it makes me feel a lot as well giving her screen time. The age range is marketed as 4 - 8, so at age 6 I thought she felt neatly within the range. I feel like this age range has been a bit misleading and should be more age 3 - 5. My daughter is in year 2 (UK) and most of the games were too easy and didn't provide a sufficient challenge. To be clear the purchase only includes the pen and the figurine, which is required to make the app work every time. No tablet is included. We used our existing Kindle Fire tablet and downloaded the app from the Amazon app store. You can set time limits for interaction within the parent portal. If you lose the figurine you can't play the game. Unfortunately we discovered this on a road trip, I had assumed it was only needed to unlock the game for the device but it does need to be present each time the game is launched. You have to hold the figurine on the screen while it unlocks, I suspect it has something to do with the 3 points underneath the figurine. If you purchase more games, those figurines will unlock further maps and those travel companions. You travel around the map onto different continents and encounter various challenges to help new friends out.I like the pen idea but I really don't feel it's practical to have to carry the figurines around as well, they can't be stored easily in the tablet case like the pen can and at this age it's a miracle if they know where it is a couple day later! You can make do without the pen.The games can be a bit repetitive in parts but the graphics are great and the music/sounds aren't annoying.Aside from the requirement to keep the figurine around I have two major issues with this game.1. It can be buggy in parts, sometimes the intro for an activity on the map will play out and then without getting to the actual activity it will complete and move on within the map. We also spent a good half hour on the third to last activity where it wasn't refreshing after you answered and then you hit stale mate and can't progress. Eventually after restarting the activity a dozen or so times we got it to move on. My daughter had lost interest after 3 attempts and I had to coax her back again to play once it moved on. Bugs like this don't help with children's self-asteem, as children don't realise it's not their fault and they get frustrated thinking they just can't figure it out. See video.2. My 6 year old completed the whole game within 3 hours over 4 days. At £45 for three hours worth of play, I can't say this represents great value for money. My daughter is not academicaly inclined, she's in the bottom half of her class, but like I said before this game wasn't challenging enough for a 6 year old and the games are too quick or not enough of them to make it last.So I can't recommend this for UK children older than 5, but it would probably be great for younger children. Just remember to take extra special care of the figurine!Disclaimer: I ordered this free of charge through the Amazon Vine program. I've had no direct contact with Amazon Vine or the manufacturer. The opinions are my own and no one is reviewing my comments before I publish it. I pride myself on reviewing items fairly and objectively with the consumer in mind.

Great educational tool
A fantastic tool for helping my little one develop early math skills. The interactive games are engaging, and the set makes learning numbers, counting, and addition fun and hands-on. My child really enjoys using the ergonomic pen and interacting with the app, which keeps them motivated. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the app could use a few more features for variety in the games. But overall, it’s a great educational toy, and I can see improvement in my child’s skills already! Highly recommend for kids 4+
