Wat a great thermometer! I use it for my wife who's had a fever for a while. It can be tricky at first to get an accurate reading, but once you get it you've got it! Extremely accurate, and rapid results. I opted for the Bluetooth because we needed to record her temperature for the Dr. The app works well and is easy to navigate! Definitely a worthwhile purchase for Drs, or home use!

I wrote the review below and then returned the thermometer. Custom Service reached out to me and sent me a free replacement. This new thermometer seems to measure temperature consistently and, while slightly different, is aligned with our oral thermometer, as long as I use the ear attachment. Unfortunately, while it seems to work for my wife, the forehead feature will not work for me, regardless of how close I hold it to my forehead.Initial Review: The thermometer would be great and easy to use, but it isn't accurate. I used it with both functions on multiple people. The old under-the-tonuge thermometer we are replacing was consistent and accurate. This thermometer was inconsistent and reflected temperatures that are too low.

It seems that's due to an imperfect aim in the ear and the obvious surface variations of temp on skin, not the device itself being wildly inaccurate.If you want the exact same temp every time spread across a dozen readings, get something medical or scientific.Otherwise use one like this in a consistent manner while being mindful that skin surface temps need to settle after laying down or sitting under a vent.It's fast! The vibration to confirm reading is more helpful than other brands that beep for multiple things and you don't know which without looking.

Simple to use with no annoying beeping, just a quiet vibration. I normally do multiple readings and has been proving to me it is accurate. This 1 is a keeper.
