Q: whats the capacity in lbs.

I really don't know. I filled them up to about 6-7 inches long, they probably could hold more, but we were using them for a toss at the work function, so we were pressed on time.

This is exactly what I used them for and the couple got to keep the painting as a keepsake. I also prepared the water balloons the day before so I would have them ready BUT IF you do this do not stack the water ballons as they can pop with the weight! Also I used a much smaller sized canvas than the video. I wish I had a photo of the final painting but it was beautiful. Good luck!

These are huge water balloons love by the kids (and adults) at a water fight party we had in the summer. They are quite sturdy and take a lot of water!!

Nice product.

You've got to fill them up enough to work. I did them quite small to start and they wouldn't break. I don't have a water pump but the opening stretched over the tap and they I filled them up that way. Good value for money.
