Refreshing facial mist with multiple benefits
I ordered this DERMAFIRM Soothing Repair Serum Mist to add to my skin care regimen. I love to use skin care serums and the idea of a serum in a mist formulation is appealing. The product comes nicely packaged and looks high end for the moderate price point for a multi-use product. The product claims to be hypoallergenic, cruelty free, vegan, clean, paraben free, with no preservatives or artificial colors. With included ingredients like Eucalyptus, Perilla, peptides, 17 amino acids and Azulene it can definitely address multiple skin issues. The mist is very fine and I find I need to hold it closer to my face than some other mists/sprays I have tried. I like the fine mist, it distributes evenly and I don't feel my face is dripping wet after use. This product has a very light scent that easily goes away after a short time. The product is light and refreshing without any sticky residue. I have found that I like to use this product as a setting spray for makeup and refresher spray during the day. I feel like the ingredients give me the skincare benefits I need without having to use multiple serums prior to putting on makeup. This is a a great product and I will definitely reorder when needed.

Good for those who like misting products!
This serum mist is to be used in replacement of normal serums that are traditionally thicker on the face. It's lightweight, leaves my skin dewy, and has a very light frefreshing clean scent to it. :) The ingredients are higher quality and there was no irritation after using a patch test on my skin before normal use. I do notice irritation has diminished in some areas on my skin with frequent use and the application method allows me to tap the product into my skin instead of rub into my skin due to the way the fine misting nozzle operates. Absorption time was only around five minutes and I find this can be used in place of a moisturiser along the course of the day if you have issues with heavier creams. Definitely give this a try if you're looking for a misting serum instead of a regular dropper serum :)

Great face mist for this cooler weather
It's currently fall here, and the cold weather is starting to settle in. My face is dying for moisture from the dry cold weather, and this is the perfect helper for my 37-year-old skin. I love a good face mist, and this is definitely a good one. I use this when I wake up but I'm not getting ready right away or as a refresher when traveling or before leaving the house. It is a very fine mist and it suggests patting it in after you spray. Since it is fine, it does dry fairly quickly. It does give you kind of a dewy glow (at least, it does for me). It's not a greasy glow. It does have a nice fragrance, so if you try to avoid fragrance in skincare, you may want to avoid this one. I don't know how to describe it, it's just clean and pleasant.

Nice, but what's it for?
While I do think this is quite nice and find myself using it at random times of the day (mostly when I feel I need a refresher), this product confuses me in a couple of ways. Mostly, what is it for, and when should you use it? It's a serum, and I'm set in my thinking that serums come before moisturizer and after washing/toning. But this is a MIST serum, and I guess that changes everything. The bottle says this is a soothing and hydrating serum that can be used any time and any place. It has a cooling effect, so it seems like maybe you should use it when it's hot out, or after a workout. But in my experience the cooling effect hasn't been that dramatic and I personally feel a warming effect right after the cooling wears off, so I probably wouldn't use it for that. What I find myself using it for is a mid-day pick me up. It doesn't have any ingredients I usually incorporate into my skincare routine (like vitamin c, niacinamide, or collagen), so I don't feel the need to find a way to slot it into my regular routine. It does have ingresients I would like to incorporate more, like the various amino acids. So it's actually kind of nice to have something for whenever, knowing it'll be kind to your skin. Now, two things I also don't care for: the scent, and the feeling after spraying. It has a fragrance, which is fine. I'm not sure what fragrance I would associate with an anytime spray, but with cooling effect and it being a mist, maybe something like sea salt or wildflowers to get that breezy feeling. I'm not actually sure what this fragrance is supposed to be, but the best I can come up to describe it is "hotel room." It smells like a hotel room to me, an upscale, nice, fresh room with everything crisp and clean as you walk in, but a hotel room nonetheless. And it's fine, it doesn't linger long and it's peasant enough. And then there is how this feels in my face as it settles. The mist is lovely, but when it clings to my face and I tap it in as suggested, I get this kind of hair spray like feeling from it. It definitely coats my face with something, but I don't know what. It's not thick, is a bit greasy, and leaves my face with that dewy effect a lot of people love. Despite those minor quibbles, I do find this very refreshing, and I like feeling free to use it whenever. After a long, exhausting meeting? Give me a spritz. Kids annoying and you need a minute? Spritz. Got done with the toilet and walking out of the bathroom? Spritz. I like it, it's nice, it's fun.

Tested on one hand overnight and I had softer and more moisturized skin in the morning!
When I used DERMAFIRM Soothing Repair Serum Mist before going to bed, I woke up with softer and more moisturized skin. I used it on my face and also just one of my hands so I could compare its effectiveness. I then used it during the day instead of regular moisturizer. It was extremely easy and quick to apply, which saved me some time. I really liked the way the very fine mist absorbs very quickly and there is no greasy feel at all. Its scent is very light and goes away quickly, but is very pleasant. I have used a lot of different serums and moisturizers, including from much higher-priced brands, but this is one that gives quick results while needing to spend very little time applying. I have not used it long enough to address some of its claims such as improving the look of dark/age spots, but I really like it so far! Definitely recommend!
