Very well built masher
It is a very well built masher, the unit doesn't have any flex in the item at all and the grip makes it nice while holding especially if you have wet hands from washing up etc during the kitchen. The only downside is that the handle grip can become uncomfortable after a while, but without mashing for a long time, this doesn't affect the main use.

Sturdy equipment
This has good handle and allows you to put plenty of pressure onto the mashing. The round holes in the base are just the right size. The stem seems to be sturdy.

Masher
It’s ok. Not as chunky or as strong as my previous one, but it does the job!

Wish I’d not bought this!!
My 40 year old masher broke, thought this was perfect, it works, but there’s a sharp medal hangar ring on top, so I can’t press down on it, makes it really awkward and difficult to get the proper pressure?? Very dissatisfied with it, although the masher itself is a strong unit, why would you put a metal thin sharp hook’ on top just where you need your palm to push it into the mash?? Bad Handel design?? I won’t use this. And am now ordering the old fashioned type! Will have to throw it away!!!
