Used these to make a stucco signpost and planter. First off they come from Ukraine so be prepared for shipping delays, but that wasnt too bad. When they came the first thing I noticed is that they look like someone made this in their garage, but oh well if they work they work. I watched a couple videos on youtube and once you get the hang of smearing thick stucco, it was relatively easy. The stucco needs to be really thick to use the stamps, I went with 1/2 inch past the scratch coat and it wasnt enough. When I do my planter bed I will aim for 1in thick stucco. I used charcoal colored stucco and lubed up the molds with cooking spray, which worked quite well. I ordered a set of three because I wanted some variability in the design, I quickly noticed that one of the stamps is shorter than the other two. When you go to use another stamp after the short one it will always leave a double line in the stone pattern. I was able compensate once I figured out what was happening. The photo shows how well the two stamps fit together. In the end it was much cheaper than elsewhere, which is why i bought it. I will continue using these, they do the job, however I think if I were to start over I would pay the extra money and buy it elsewhere.
