Quiet motor, installation is straightforward and takes less than 30 minutes if it's your first time. Worked just like the OEM. Air pressure was correct, and it was just as quiet. I see some other reviews. Is it going to last 8 years like the OEM motor, maybe, maybe not considering the excellent price point, . But to buy you a couple more years for (in my case) literally 1/20th of the cost of a replacement machine, it's definitely worth it.

The motor replacement works great, and fits perfectly. The instructions for replacement are on the listing, and are pretty good (they don't really show how to remove the outer casing, or how this little plastic piece outside the motor casing is arranged). Replacing the motor will not AUTOMATICALLY reset the motor life counter, nor that stupid warning on your CPAP. However, you should still replace the motor, because the motor will lose pressure before it dies, and if your pressure isn't being hit, you aren't getting proper sleep. The replacement takes about an hour, and requires a single security torx screwdriver to undo all the screws on the cpap. Buy yourself a set of security bits with this motor if you don't already have them.

Constant low whining, I swapped out motors and started to hear low whining on the first night. Thinking that I didn’t properly seal the motor chamber, I went and resealed the the chamber the following day. That second night, still whining and this time it woke up my spouse around 230 am, waiting for them to go back to sleep i then restarted my machine for to be whining same volume as it was before. So here I am at 3:37 am writing this review because I can not sleep out without not wanting to wake up my spouse again before our alarms go off at 6:30 am. Update: I keep the one star review, I thought maybe I messed something up with the motor chamber seal, so I put in the old motor to see if that made the loud whirring noise, it did not only after about 5 hours of use does the old motor make the whirring noise. Will be putting in for a refund, this motor is a POS and I’ve been in the guest room all week because it the whirring noise wakes up my spouse. I usually run my CPAP machine without water but I figure try it with water to see if that would make a difference, it did not. But plus side i can now take apart and rebuild my CPAP in about 20-30 minutes. Put in for replacement, I’m hoping that this one was bad motor well see this upcoming weekend Update update So it’s 5am and for the past week I’ve been in the guest room so that way my partner could get proper uninterrupted sleep. Which is good because the replacement motor was going good then this morning at about 4:30 am I was awoken to whining and loud air whooshing from my machines intake this is at only 11 pressure and it woke me up at about 9.6 with even higher whining. Will be returning so disappointed nearly 3 weeks without proper sleep

Perfect fit for my Resmed airsense 10. It’s like a new machine. It’s easy to replace. Just watch a video on YouTube. Definitely worth the effort.

Working great as expected, the picture is for the old motor, unfortunately I didn’t took the new photo, working with good performance every night and has really quiet sound as it was the original. Saved my time and money.

This motor was purchased as a direct replacement for the same in an AirSense 10 CPAP device. Detailed instructions were not provided with the motor, but on-line resources provided good instructions for disassembly, replacement and reassembly. Note that replacement of the motor does not eliminate the AirSense 10 message stating that the motor has exceeded maximum use hours. The AirSense will work properly, however.

I am impressed with this item! I watched a couple videos on replacing the motor in n my Airsense 10 and quickly got the job done. The original motor was randomly making noise with every noise inhale/exhale while ch would wake me up and prevent me from sleeping. The new motor is quiet with no noticeable change in power. I highly recommend this.
