Sharpens well and easy to use
Sharpens knives great. Very easy and simple to use.

Compact and effective. Stable in use.
Effective little sharpener with a solid and stable suction action. Suction mechanism works on my slightly textured worktop if you moisten it slightly. Uses a 20deg. edge angle but it works fine on my Global and Zelite knives. Light pressure only needed even when setting the edge initially. 5 strokes seemed to be about right for the first go. Hopefully just a couple of strokes occasionally to keep the edge sharp. Much better than using a handheld sharpener because you can use both hands to draw the knife and the sharpener is held securely to the table. If you really want a 14deg. angle then look elsewhere.

Works v well, great value
Sticks to surface well, and looks good. Feels like the metal version will last longer than the plastic one I used to have and it also looks better. But doesn't have to be the metal one to get good results imo

A knife sharpener that actually works!
I am lousy at sharpening knives! I have tried various sharpeners with poor results. This one works well for me. I have sharpened all my kitchen knives and a carving knife on which I have previously failed to get an edge - success!! It has even sharpenen my Swiss Army pocket knife. As I say, it works well for me.

The best sharpener in the world? Quite probably
The strap line for this product is the best sharpener in the world. I would agree with that. We’ll done Amazon.

Sharpens But Don't Use On Expensive Knives!!
Well I had some high hopes for this being a good all round sharpener to keep in the kitchen and in all fairness it actually sharpens easily and very quickly HOWEVER... Don't expect the finish to be clean... It's left very uneven and jagged finish which is extremely rougher and more like miniscule serrations so don't do what I did and use on a couple of hand forged professional chef cleavers... If you have a cheap set of kitchen knives then yeah I would say this ideal.Does it sharpen? - YesDoes it sharpen to a professional standard? - Absolutely not

Excellent Gadget
Excellent sharpener watched demonstration at trade show decided to buy later but it had sold out.Came home Amazon stocked same brand bought and at a better price than trade show .Used on scissors .kitchen equipment and small garden shears brilliant
