Is the cover machine washable?

I haven’t tried to wash it myself. But the fabric this cover was made out of should stand up to a washing. It did appear to have a protective coating on the cover, so I would not choose to wash it myself, I think it would with stand a lot before it might get dirty.

Does this have any kind of toxic or chemical smell to it?

I did not smell anything out of the ordinary. It has padding and is a cute color.
