Batman: Legacy Vol. 1 (Detective Comics (1937-2011))

The best of Batman! Amazing! I recomend!

Batman: legacy is how after the virus that threatened to wipe out Gotham city had been allegedly cured, only to find that the cure was a temporary suppressant. Batman takes off to Africa to find a permanent cure only to find out that Ras Al-Ghul and Bane are behind the spreading of the virus with plans of wiping out ninety percent of the world's population.

Great story.

I wish DC would have rolled these out either a little quicker, or in a way that made a bit more sense; for example we got the 4 volumes of No Man's land first, then we got the Road to No Man's Land, then we Cataclysm, then finally Legacy volume 1, with volume 2 not due out until early 2018. Why this is a bit frustrating is that these essentially represent several years worth of Batman stories, but published out of order- so imagine getting chapter 5 of a book, then 3, then 1... ect. Still; shipping schedules aside this was a pretty huge storyline for both Batman, and the whole Bat-Family; and if you've purchased both the Knightfall and War games collections you've got all the major story beats and events they did for Batman over the course of a decade or so. Legacy is pretty good- and stands on it's own from the No Man's Land run, but is also what essentially kicked off the run. Worth checking out!

Really entertaining crossover with all the bat-gang at their best.

It’s good. Too bad Vol 2 is OOP. Kind of a mind screw if you ask me.
