I think it does the job, but must do it several times if your patio has been neglected for years like mine without anyone in the house at least washing it once with water and soap. My patio is full of grime and lime, but still you can tell a bit the difference. The pavements are lighter. It has been cleansed a second time, but is it really due to the product or because I have cleansed a second time? I am not sure
