Not waterproof is an advantage. When you get water in a waterproof boot (via sweat or water coming in over top of boot), the water stays in boot. In non-waterproof boots, as Nevados, when water gets in, water just squeezes out as you walk. Also sweat is less than in waterproof boots and sweat dries as you walk. Nevados are comfortable, light, have good ankle support, and look good. I wear them hiking on tough muddy trails, and just walking around. Amazing bargain at $35. Of 4 pairs of hiking boots and a pair of running shoes that I use for hiking, I like Nevados best.

Really good sturdy cards. High quality cardstock and the speckles are my favorite! I've been using these to package Etsy shop listings for hand made bracelets and jewelry. Will buy again when I run out eventually. :)
