I had this to run with my effects pedal (sonicake levitate) running a synth through it then into my pre-amp. It creates a loud humming noise. So unusable,l. Purchased a sonicake model (which I should have in the first place) thought they would all be the same. The spec of this one states it’s ok but is unusable due to the noise it creates.The sonicake one is only £2 more and definitely worth it. Don’t assume that all dc adapters will do the same job like i did.Just for reference I am using all good quality cables so was surprised to hear this loud humming when I first had the adapter and thought I had a dodgy effects pedal but turns out it is this charger.

The dummy earth pin on this is just flimsy plastic. Mine broke off in the socket after just a few uses and without this you can't use the device as the earth pin is needed to mechanically allow the live and neutral pins to be able to insert in a socket.
